I've met individually with 3 members who live in my area. Others have tried to organize get togethers but they never seem to pan out. Cost is always a factor along with distance. Most of us are spread out all over the world.

I was blessed enough to meet in person a member on here who has since become what I'd consider a very close friend. It's a beautiful thing AFN how the common love of a plant and helping each other out can bring so many people together from all walks a life for the most part always with harmony.

:thumbs: AFN! I know I'm seriously considering the Denver cup next year... Maybe a year and some planning we can get a group of us USA folks and others who can make it together for Denver 2015, see maybe we can set up a educational booth for health autos and etc..get some of our fine folks living out there up to speed and with some gear to get some dragons entered in the cup (do they have an auto category yet?)

Man when we went to the cannabis cup in denver we couldnt get one AFN'er to show up. The CANNABIS CUP!!!!! Afn get together.....yea right.

I was so close to going as I could have made it a business trip too! An Austrian net friend was there too it would have been cool to see. He was here in PDX two years ago on 4/20.

Well yes and no.. you could have USA version.. UK version..Canadian and so on and so forth. Norn Iron version etc etc would be interesting to taste 2 same strains grown by different peeps etc!

Hubby and I were talking about a hypothetical AFN shindig the other night. Once I get my first grows out of the way, I might try to organise an AFN jolly in Amsterdam for obvious reasons. It would need an advertising/lead time of at least 12 months. Might get Dutch Passion involved in some way. Anyway I am good at this sort of organising/events planning, and if things are booked well in advance, we could party like crazy for 4 nights stay in 3 star accommodation plus flights for as little as £400 per head. Watch this space.......

I live in a non medical state, which sucks, but there are a few members on here i would love to meet. Muddy and yodabuds just to name a few, alot of good info in there post's and probably alot more to be learned. Where i live i feel like an outcast for being a grower lol. no one even knows i grow and i feel like its my big secret so there is no sense of community on a real life level at all. Around here letting anyone in on your growing adventures is a HUGE risk.
