New Grower ever grow in this?

has anyone heard of water beads? I just read about them for the first time today and was wondering if anyone has attempted to grow in these or something like them WaterBeads.

they look like they could at least be useful in germing or cloning

Sounds crazy just had a look but i personaly wouldnt bother but if some1 trys it ill be watching to see what does or doesnt happen :group:

I read a little more into it and it says that you soak them once then again in 30 - 40 days so this might be good for autos because you could grow in soil then transplant into this with veg nutes soaked in the first time and add flower nutes to the soak the second time. also could just foliar spray for veg nutes if you germed in this stuff. I might try this but I have so many other things I wanna try. I'm hoping someone else has and will chime in and save me some time.
I would worry about root rot or lack of oxygen but maybe some peroxide would help
