Black Buds from AK clone

I took these pics from pics on a computer but they are of clones from my AK mother plant. Out of 3 this person has growing 1 is getting black around the buds. It is the biggest one getting the most sun. I haven't seen any other clones do this so I was wondering if this is a disease or some dormant genetic trait brought on by some environmental condition.


The first 2 are the plant in question and the third pic is different clone from the same mother.

Normally I wouldn't be permitted to post pics from this grower but this is an unusual situation.

Where I'm at we have major temp change and if its outdoors. That's probley where your purple iis coming from cold nights. But I'm not an expert just my guess.

That's the first thing I thought too but didn't know. I figure maybe since it gets the most sun during the day it gets the warmest and therefore has a more severe reaction to the night temps dropping. I still don't know for sure....

Yes it is the only one that gets a full days sun. The other 2 are shaded for about half of the day.
He used some kind of nutrient pellets in the soil. Dug holes and loosened soil then mixed pellets in and planted clones. I'm not sure about his watering routine but I know he doesn't use any additional nutrients.
I should also say that this plant is 100% Afghani Kush pure indica and the base to a few of my strains.

I have a feeling the color is coming from the temp swing from having all day sun. must not mind it though, you said shes the biggest. but it also looks to be coming from the inside.. wouldn't the tip react to the cooler temps first? we would water with cooler water to get them to change colors, and it usually started in the middle. any chance they are being fed cool water?
