I would call my self an experience noob but in theory im a pro haha. I've been learning to grow since the age of 12 now 27(man I miss overgrow) but never put it into practice until recently. im doing my first grow on a budget but plan on a 9 plant set up in the near future. for now tho its a micro grow cfl setup with ak-49. oddly enough I don't smoke anymore but plan on taking a dose of my own meds of course plus the gf is an avid smoker. I love the grow more then I love the finished product actually get a lil down thinking about the harvest cuz I know that means the grow is over. always read up on photos so this side was a much needed dose of knowledge for the current grow (just wish they had a training section im lost on training with autos). look forward to conversing with like minded ppl for a change. im obsessed so ill almost always be on feel free to drop a message

Welcome to the forums
Anything you need to know about autos, we will be able to give you a hand.
We are looking into getting training guides but it will take a while to get them written.
Have a good read through the grow journals and you'll be bound to pick up some tips.
We have plenty of members who use lst (low stress training) and faded187 loves to do some fimming, we also have some scrogs dotted about too.
Best thing to do is start a journal, I would suggest starting it in the new growers section, where help is never far away.

ive been lurking on this site everyday for two weeks so yeah ive seen quite a few grow journals. im a technical minded person so whenever I embark on something new I research the crap out of it. appreciate the friendly responses. ive read many lst guides and plan on using those. a lil scared to deploy the topping methods on an auto fimming and the like since its such a short life span although ive seen some ppl have success with it. and thanks for the advice on the grow journal was thinking about just for the sake of getting info out on my sttain. not a lot out there for ak-49

Hello yummy,

there are many growers here who are not actually into the smoking that much. I get more out of the grow than the smoke! I personally would steer clear of the advanced methods for a first grow. I am firmly in the "keep it simple" camp. But, each to their own. Just enjoy it. Don't over water. And do sing to them. They love it. GF may not!

yeah my gf wont like it at all haha shes already mad I spend more time with my little seedling( also know as "my baby" ha) then I do her. and I agree simple is good just worried a lil bit about space concerns only about 23 in (or 58cm) of vertical room on a sativa dominant strain average height from breeder is 50 to 60 cm so I might be okay but better safe then sorry

My first 2 or 3 grows were for the missus, with only the occasional taste for *ehem* quality control, so I can relate to growing just for the pure pleasure of it.
