Week 6 HID sodium 600W

Feed BioBizz/Grow 7.5 ml per 6 Litre ( 1.2ml per Litre)

Feed BioBizz/Bloom 15 ml per 6 Litre ( 2.5ml per Litre)

500-600Ml watering every 24-36 hours 10 Litre soil pot

Plants 70cm= average

PH 7 water (in)

what do I need to do to sort this out with what I have????

or do I need something else???

cheers mike

Soil or soiless or hydro? Regardless your ph is to high.

Hey, Mike, do you have any pics? Or a link to a grow journal?
If I understand, you're growing in soil, a 10L pot, what type of soil, and what is the ph of your runoff?
Sounds like nute lockout, but hard to nail anything down w/out pics...

Well yea nutrient lockout from the ph being to high. You said your watering at 7.0. If your in soil then you need to get the ph of your water/nutes down to the 6.5 range. Then might not have to bother measuring ph of runoff. Measuring the runoff can be difficult if using drops or strips.

something like this. also not all plants are having issues.
only the yellowing, not the browning of leaves shown. Also, I do not have any run off.

the test
Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

PH - Potential Hydrogen - The Manual - Polled

What GoAuto6 said.
It's a pain, but you need to know pH in, and pH out. They're partners. :howdy:

Great answer GoAuto6... I'm impressed...:checkph:

Ph is sooo important... It'll make or brake your grow...

500-600Ml watering every 24-36 hours 10 Litre soil pot

If I'm understanding you correctly, and this is how frequent you are watering, that's incorrect. Weed like to dry out between feedings as it helps to bring oxygen to the roots. Get a feel for how heavy your plants are when they are almost completely dry and only feed when they feel that way. Also, by not getting any run off when you feed, you are running the risk of salt buildup in the soil, which can also cause nutrient lockout. Salts are the bi product of fertilizer utilization. Giving enough water to produce about 10% run off will help to leach them out of the soil and prevent salt build up.

Thanks guys and muddy, I'm buying some White Vinegar tomorrow to drop the nuit/water down and to also start putting in more water to get run off. I have a new yellow ph pen that reads my tap water at 7.1. That's a good base level to work the bulb with. Some of the plants have no real yellowing, just some of the more progressive ones that are flowering a good'un. I will let ya all knows how things turn out. cheers mike
