Grow Room Fan size

Hello all.

so first set up

I’ve got Cloudlab 733 (3x3)
Spider farmer se3000

I will buy either ac infinity t4 or t6 to match tent.

my priority is stealth (noise). Can t4 clear the air sufficiently in that grow space without having to run at higher speed settings or do I need to oversize big time to be able to run low speeds and still clear air.

I have the 4x4 tent, I have the 6" fan, and never ran it past 3 of 10 settings. The 4" will easily do the job, but I dont know about being able to run a low speed. Either way, I dont find the fans to be loud at higher settings.

That’s basically what I’m hoping for with the smaller grow space I can have the smaller slightly cheaper fan and still be running speed 3-4. Out of 10. The thing is the light driver is detachable so if it was hot I can mount it out the tent so hoping I’m only really needing fan to circulate air rather than cooling.

Just make sure that the fan and controller are modern design. My 6" Canfan makes more noise at low speed than it does at medium due to the old PWM tech. I would not buy any setup unless you hear from other owners that what you hear is air movement noise, not the motor vibration induced by PWM motor control.

I recall someone mentioning that the ACInfinity fan/controllers are quiet, but check it out before buying. Good luck with it.
