I'm noticing a hay smell with my curing. I did the paper bag cure for the appropriate time and put in jars then burb daily for a couple of hours and have the hay smell. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Depending on the strain it might take awhile for the hay smell to dissapate, time will tell.

Ok I'll give it some time only been one week in the jar. Ty for getting back to me namvet25.

Does hay smell or scents from Flowers in general ever become the way it ends up because of what we feed it? and the medium it was grown in? Maybe even other factors i've not listed here?

I've been wondering that too marleyoneluv, I noticed in my last grow the plants I used molasses on had a hay smell to it when cured but the two that I did not use molasses on did not have the smell. I'm wondering if I'll be taking it out of my neut use. I'd hate to have my new crop smell like shit but I must say so far it smokes great.:smokeit:
