Hi Everyone.

I've recently just started a new username as i told someone about the site and thought maybe they could work out who i was from my user name. I've been waiting and waiting and saving up funds for my first grow and it is about to become a reality. I am so so excited i feel like i could wet myself at any moment. seriously.

Ok so i have a crude fitted wardrobe in my room that is almost 2ft deep most of the way along but at one side it opens backwards so there is a space roughly 3ftx3ft.



My original plan was to mess about making it air and light proof and turning it into an epic grow cupboard, but then i decided that was going to be too much of a chew on for a lazy fat knacker like myself so i came up with this idea...



That's right, i stuck a tent in my wardrobe because i'm lazy. I'm so lazy in fact i kitted it out with one of these too...



And for beans and nutes we have these...



Now i'm just waiting on my 600w sunmaster digital adjustable ballast and my rhino 5" carbon filter and rvk fan. i'm still debating on whether to knock into the chimney breast to vent into or whether to just vent it out into my room.

Let me know what you guys think and any advice is truly welcomed.

thanks dude, laziness jokes aside the autopots are because i work away from home monday afternoon to friday morning/afternoon, so my ladies will be left to their own devices.

ok guys, bit of an update and it's not going too well at the moment. i haven't been able to set anything away yet because i got stuck on a 12 day stint away from home with work. which sucked. i got back from work yesterday and the zipper on my new tent broke so it looks like another delay while i send it back, unless i can fix it with pliers later today.

on the plus i now have everything i need apart from some bungies to hang my fan and filter, i just have to try my hardest with the zip and failing that play the waiting game.

Evening all,

first of all i'd just like to get this out of the way...

WOO-EING-HOO, I FIXED MY MOTHERLOVING TENT!!!!!

ahem, now that's out of the way...

i've sort of fixed my tent, i've pulled the second zipper round and made it so they close either side of the fault on the zip. i will mess about with pliers at some point and fix it. failing that i'll fess up to what i'm doing to my ma and ask her to fix it, she's a good egg and a bit of a hippy so she'll help.

so, i soaked 5 autoxtreme seeds until i couldn't wait any longer and planted them in coco jiffys that had been soaked in 1/8 strength sensi grow and seedling strength voodoo juice and then stuck them straight into 8.5L autopot pots that were 2/3 coco and 1/3 perlite with a good inch layer of perlite in the bottom of the pots. the pots have been watered through with 1/4 strength sensi grow and seedling strength voodoo juice. i did put them into the tent at first with the light set to 400w which is as low as i can go with my current bulb and filter on to keep them nice and warm, that idea was soon scrapped as i currently have the tent venting elsewhere in the wardrobe and the thermometer showed 38 degrees c when i checked it. now they're just sat in the tent with no light and the door open. one day this week a friend is going to call down and remove some bricks from the chimney breast so i can vent into there. he's also going to cut a hole into the loft so i can vent cold air in from there. the only other problems i've encountered so far was one of my cats took a shit in one of the pots while they were in the bath waiting for me to plant the seeds, they have both been banished from my room until i can get the tent door closed and my autopot trays don't sit level and so only flood one one side. i'm going to build an adjustable platform when i'm home next so i can level them off with a spirit level.

well, i'm away to work for 4 days tomorrow so hopefully my ladies will be up and out of the soil when i get back so i can start blasting them with the light and hopefully my venting will be sorted.

i've also been asking myself why i don't feel like any more of a criminal. i'm guessing it's because it's a fucking stupid law and if lots of people don't break it then a stupid law won't be changed.

Hi mate i have also Autoextremes in my tent right now, and all i can say: beware those plants grow like a monsters, control them height You may have trouble with space with so many plants in this tent.

yeah, i'm only going to be growing 4. i planted the extra just in case one doesn't sprout, if it does my best mate wants it to stick in his window. just had a look at your grow and while my tent is a wee bit taller than yours at 1.9m i'm still suitably worried so i'm going to get a screen ready to go in. thanks for the warning.
