i just had a quick read of your other post .. im guessing that the 6500k is the blue light spectrum and the 125 watter you have is the red spectrum .. i would personally use both as in dual spectrum, but thats just me. however if you did decide to get your hps up and running.. it would be great.. and your CFL's can play a great advantage in lighting lower areas of the plant.

Thanks for all the help milk! Any advise or guidance is greatly appreciated! And I have the wood to build a box tomorrow, so I shall! Regarding the cfl / hps thing I am going to persevere with the cfl's for now as 400watts 20 hours a day is a bit dear at the moment, also I can't afford the set up! But I defiantly will after a few grows! Also I was thinking would sticking another seed in now create a better yield? Or will sharing the light diminish the yields from each plant significantly?

Hello my friend canublay well its good news to hear you will be building a box for your little one ! you will be better off that way and all the best with the CFL's many people use them and i have seen some impressive results

Regarding what you said about having 2 plants in one pot.. people do it .. few people on here do it, i have never done it before, hopefully someone can help you out more with information on that if thats what you wish to do.
The main reason i dont do it or.. have not ever done it is because i dont like the idea of having two root systems being entwined, but ive also seen people pull of great results in small grows by doing so.

what i have to say is .. you are growing in an 18 ltr pot.. same as me.. you can either have one very big plant .. or two slightly smaller plants .. will you yeild more from 2? maybe ... maybe not .. i really cant answer that .. i have no experience with pot sharing .. i like to keep it simple.. 1 plant per pot.. what you could do it just go out and buy 2 10ltr pots and have a plant in each ?
