Thanks! At first I was just adjusting them but I noticed that she didn't seem to need the strings anymore. What's your verdict on this? Keep the strings on til harvest or take them off? They all are still doing really well today. The plants are holding their shape and look amazing without the strings on now.

You dont need to keep them on man once they are tied for a couple of weeks its fine to take them off.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I figured. Still can't believe how gorgeous they look without the strings. They are really taking off now. Hope my 3 gal bucket keeps them reasonably sized. If my Mazar gets as big as yours I'm in trouble lol.

Well my mazar was in a 25 litre pot so thats 6.6 gal so im not sure how big yours will get considering you have 3 gals less than I.

I figure the best way to control their size is by LST and the size of the container. I'm hoping to top out at 3-3 1/2ft. I'd love to use 7gal but my tents just too damn small lol

Pic update from tonight. Switched to my HPS bulb still running it at 400watts about 18in above the canopy. I also made a laso around my plants with string to pull the branches closer together.

Question for you guys...do HPS bulbs run hotter then MH bulbs at the same wattage?

I'm asking because I've noticed my temps increased from 84 to 89 degrees since switching last night. I didn't have time to look at it this morning so I turned the light down to 250watts.

That is correct Mrbubbles, HPS is going to run quite a bit hotter than MH.
