Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Ph is about 7 after my tap water sits over night. I say about because I have to use the drops which are tricky. Ive foliar fed 1/4 tsp grow big per 750ml spray bottle and also fed them with 1tblspn per gal big bloom.

Really stumped on this one. Need them to speed up so I don't have to wait 4 months for my next harvest lol. The other seedlings are about 2 weeks and doing great.

Here's a few more pics....

Id start feeding them grow directly in the soil. A far as i know foliar feeding deals with just the leaf you have directed the spray on. You need to feed the roots too man. I see some purle stem there too. If she is a month old up the nutes a bit, theese arent autos they wont be so easily burned but watch out you can still burn them.

That's what I'm thinking too. Ill try half dose nutes next feeding. The problem is the soil takes forever to dry out cuz they're under the t12's and humidity dome. They seem to look a lot better than when they weren't under the humidity dome though. Pretty sure they'll do much better once I get them in the tent.

Thanks again Brian! :D

They look about 10-12 cm tall, why would you keep 'em in a humidity dome?

I don't really have a very good veg setup right now. I've just hung a t12 under a desk and start my seedlings/clones there. It can get down to 65 degrees but the avg temp is usually 80. Before when I didn't have them under the dome they looked a lot worse. Not sure if the temps better under the dome or if the extra humidity is helping.

It's temporary because in a few weeks after I harvest my autos ill be able to move them into my 2x4 tent. Then hopefully about a month later ill have my 4x4 tent to move them into and my 2x4 will become my veg tent.

I'm pretty sure at this point that I just failed to add nutes. The soil I'm using is ProMix potting mix with extra perlite. It really has little to no nutes in it. I'm used to autos which don't need nutes for the first few weeks.

Tbh I've been so caught up with my autos I haven't been paying too much attention to the seedlings. Now that my autos are close to done I'm starting to plan my next harvest and realizing my seedlings aren't as far as I need them lol.

I do still have a bag seed plant that's almost 2ft tall. It's already shown female so I'm going to flower it after this harvest while the other seedlings take about a month to get where I want them before I start to flower them also.

My goal is to eventually have a perpetual. Wanting to run 8 under T12's in my 2x4 a month a part and 4 at a time flowering in my 4x4. I'd basically be using the same amount or less electricity than I do now but 12 plants instead of 6 :D

Thanks for the comments!

I removed my humidity domes couple of days the seedlings have sprouted. But I've always had good vetilation around, so may be that's the point?
I mean the leaves are pretty big and they are trying to photosynthesize but you're not letting them to, they never get any fresh air. That's one.
The other thing is that those domes are all moist from the inside and when the light are on all that water may work as a natural lens thus burning leaves.
Imagine yourself hanging on a rope naked in desert without any wind for days

Typically I remove the dome after seedlings sprout as well but in my current veg setup that doesn't work very well.

As far as ventilation. I remove the dome usually at least 3 times per day and the vents are partially open.

I know what you mean about the light burning the leaves with water. That happened to my autos under the hps. It hasn't happened with these though. I don't think the t12's are powerful enough for that.

I pretty sure at this point it's mainly a nute def. My fault for neglecting them. Guess I just got used to how simple and hardy the autos are. Plus I was distracted lol. Ill be keeping a close eye on them now and will hopefully see an improvement soon.

Thanks for the observations! Great analogy, hanging by a rope naked in the desert lmao! :D

Update Day 62

I'm starting to have some problems with my girls. They're all showing what appears to be a cal/mag def. I'm not positive though. I have been adding epsom salt/molasses with each feeding but apparently not enough. I did double my molasses/epsom salt dosage in my feed today so I'm hoping to see an improvement. I'm also concerned that maybe I've locked out cal/mag by over feeding other nutrients. I haven't seen any nute burn that I can see.

My critical jack is really getting yellow leaves bad. Almost like she's ready to harvest but she's not very fat and according to the Seedbank should take at least 70 days.

What further confuses me is I'm not seeing a cal/mag def on 3 of my plants. I can't say it's strain specific though because I have 2 berry ryder's that aren't showing cal/mag def and 1 that is.

Just hoping they can hold out til they get fat and ripe.

My feed today included:

1tblspn Big Bloom
2tsp Tiger Bloom
2tblspn molasses
2tsp Epsom salts

All per gal with 5 cups per plant.

Blue Cheese (Showing yellow/green leaves which appears to be cal/mag def)

Berry Ryder 1 (Not showing any deficiencies. Seems very healthy. Slightly behind my BR 3. Also hoping to harvest by 9/15.)

Berry Ryder 2 (My prize plant! She started as my runt. Even broke her main stalk during early LST. Now she has turned into monster. She's growing 4 huge main colas and towers over all my other girls. She's supposed to take 60 days but I can easily see her hitting 80!!! :D Planning to take her by 9/31 but could end up going longer. Unfortunately she's beginning to show some type of deficiency as well. I'm guessing its cal/mag.)

Berry Ryder 3 (Not showing yellow/green leaves but leaf tips and sides are curling upwards. Also believe this to be a cal mag def. This is my furthest plant and hope to harvest by 9/15. Unfortunately she isn't turning purple like the pic on the seed banks site lol)

Critical Jack (Has the most severe case of what appears to be cal/mag def. Has several large fan leaves completely yellow. This ones confusing me because she has tons of red hairs and I know autos are supposed to be done when the leaves start charging. She's supposed to take 70 days also. Thinking ill chop her on 9/15.)

Mazar (She's looking very healthy. Not showing any deficiencies. She will take the longest but I'm hoping for a big yield. This girl could take til 10/15 which will be close to 90 days but we'll see how she comes along.)

Today I decided to build my dry box. I purchased a grand wardrobe box from uhaul for $11.95. I attached my 4in active intake to a hole I cut towards the top of the box. I also cut a small slot on the bottom of the opposite side. I covered the slot with black weed fabric to block out the light. I'm hoping cool air will be sucked in through the fabric, past the buds hanging on the rod, into the 4in intake to my tent and out through the carbon filter. Basically hoping to keep it dark, ventilated, and odor free. It looks pretty sweet. Seems to work well and my temp gage is reading 68 degrees and 50% humidity but I'm concerned that once plants are hanging in there the humidity will spike. Plus I'm concerned there won't be enough negative pressure to keep the odor down. Here's a few pics...

And finally a small update on my seedlings. They're doing slightly better. I still need to add nutes but they're just not drying up. I took the humidity dome off and also tried a little experiment. I made a small hanging shelf in my tent to put the two older seedlings on. I know they're not under direct light but even indirect hps has to be better than the t12's. Plus I'm hoping they'll dry up so I can finally feed them. Not sure if ill take it down yet or not lol

I've recently purchased 3 5gal buckets which ill use for washing my buds and also making hash. I ordered my hash bags and hydrometer for my curing jars as well. Hoping to make some ice hash after the first harvest on 9/15. Might be purchasing the Viper Trinity Vaporizer Pen package to smoke my ice hash out of. Any opinions on a vape pen for ice wax?

Well that's all for now. I appreciate any advice you guys can give me. I'm really in the dark at this point and just going by instinct lol. Starting to get concerned with my deficiencies or possibly nute lock out. Also concerned about when some of these need to be harvested and how much more weight they'll pack on.

Thanks again AFN and all you guys for your advice! I wouldn't be this far without you.

Hey bud I have a bunch of plants that just did the same thing. I was having a little cal-mag defi. then a bunch of yellowing happened fast. My soil ph dropped to 5.6 for some reason so I wonder if your ph is off. Have you check the soil runoff ph yet? If it happens to be low may want to add some dolomite lime into the soil at 1tbs/gallon

I put dolomite into soil and feed water and got my ph back up to 6.8 and didn't have to flush. But it defiantly looks like you have some nitrogen defi with it as I did too
