Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Thanks fakula! The temp isn't so much of an issue it's the damn noise. I now hear a fan humming/whistling in my eat even when I'm not home lol. Really can't wait to upgrade to an inline fan.

Hey man! Things seem to be going well for you. I went through alot of effort to stealth my setup as best I can, that damn inline fan sounded like a helicopter taking off. I would highly reccomend picking up a little bit of Insulated ducting. Its basically a flex duct, wrapped in fiber glass. Attach a couple feet of the insulated ducting at the very end of your duct work (Where it is currently exhausting). I noticed it cuts down the sound DRAMATICALLY. If you could imagine a silencer on the end of a pistol, it basically has that same effect.

Thanks for stopping by! I have spent hours and hours trying everything I can possibly think of to silence that damn thing. It really sucks cuz it's right next to my bedroom. I'd like to run it at night when the temps are lower but I can't sleep with the damn thing running. Not to mention id like to run it 20/4 vs 18/6 but I need at least 6hrs of sleep a night lol. Most of the sound on mine is coming from the end of the tubing. I have tried insulating it to no avail. I've built various homemade mufflers from an ice-cream bucket diffuser to a homemade cardboard box muffler and nothing is getting the damn sound down. Just saving my pennies for an inline fan with a carbon filter and speed control. That should quiet things down. Just can't afford it for at least a month. Better invest in some earplugs lol.

I had the same issues when I was using that rigid ducting. You can hear the wind just ripping through the entire thing, I had to tear mine down and figure out another way for stealth reasons. As long as its just a nuisance and not an immediate threat to security then it doesn't really matter haha. Earplugs would be a worthy investment for sure

Not much of a security threat just annoying lol. Think ill take your advice on the insulated flex ducting because not only is sound an issue but that rigid ducting sucks because after moving it so many times it starts to tear. Plus I'm going to upgrade my ducting when I get my new fan/carbon filter anyways. Thanks for the advice!

Update Day 14: Still not much to update. The plants are really starting to takeoff now. Also I found a home for one of the bagseed plants. Going to help my buddy learn how to grow too :D Anyways here's some pics....

thanks for posting mate, my critical jacks are all 14 days aswell will get some pics up once the lights go back on in 3 hours. Will be good to see how critical jack does when grown in hydro, its my best auto when it comes to constant good yields and a real sativa high. That said the cream caramel in my tent is smelling so amazing and i remember how beautiful the strain tasted, almost smells of coffee at the moment. Anyway best of luck with your grow mate :)

Looking good man! My white widow is the same age as your babies. Its funny how slow the growth is at the beginning, but once those fan leaves get bigger you can really see the plant kick the photosynthesis into overdrive.

I had one of my plants which was bent over real far towards the light also. If you rotate the pot so plant is bent away from the light, it will naturally correct itself by bending back the other way to reach for it. I'm not enirely sure if it matters or not, though.
