Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Finally got my SNS 203! Only problem is I already watered them this morning so I can't do a saturated treatment. What I did instead was mix 1tblspn in my 32oz spray bottle. I sprayed the plants and soil thoroughly while they were in their dark period this afternoon (didn't turn any lights on but a little concerned that light during the dark cycle could hermie them I've heard this isn't a concern with autos tho). In aprox 3 days when I water them again ill include 3 tblspn in my 1gal water/feed plus ill give them another spray just to make sure the bastards are done lol. Anyone foresee any problems with this plan?

I dont think you will hermie them when light gets in when lights are off. I always tend to my plants when lights are off, its easier that way for me and i havent had any problems and i always leave the sunlight get into that room so i can see inside the tent.

Autos arent as sensitive to light. I also think that poor genetics is the cause for hermi from small light leaks... I mean outdoors where cannabis grew naturally for millions years, the stars and moon were always there at night... It seems counterintuitive that ANY light will cause them to hermi

Tbh I haven't researched it much. I just always heard in the past to never allow light on photo plants during the dark cycle. I've heard that certain spectrums are ok. For example they sell green lights specifically for accessing photo sensitive plants in the dark. I think the moon/stars are a certain spectrum so they don't affect them. Also, nature is very predictable and reliable. Whereas we are not. For example somedays I turn my tent on 15 mins early cuz I can't wait to see them or need to take care of them. The sun doesn't do that lol.

They seem to be recovering really well. I'm not seeing any new spots and the leaves look really healthy. Also, I'm not seeing any more fungus flies since I sprayed them and the soil down. I'm wondering if I can include the SNS with my nutrients when I feed them. I really don't want to skip a feeding at this crucial stage and I'm not seeing anymore flies so I'd rather skip the extra sns treatment and take the risk of the flies coming back vs missing a feeding. Opinions on this anyone?

The LST is coming along extremely well. I've got all the plants almost completely horizontal now with some of them starting to spiral. Most the plants now have 5 tops due to the LST! Can't wait to see some pre flowers. Here's a few group pics from tonight.

I decided to plant 2 of my photo seeds last night. I'm hoping the timing will work out well. I'm going to veg them until I harvest my autos. I decided to plant 1 G13 Labs Blue OG and 1 TH seeds Ultrasour. I planted them both in peatmoss pellets and the placed them inside clear cups. I know starting seeds under the MH isn't ideal I think it will still work out pretty well. Here's a few pics...

You must have gotten same freebies as I did.I have the Ultra Sour,Blue OG,Lemon Thai Kush and a Thai Fantasy all about 5 weeks in veg.The US and LTK are about 18" tall and little bushes with no LST yet.Thai Fantasy is supposed to be auto but I'm not holding my breath on that one to auto.I've taken a couple clones off it in case it don't.The Blue OG is my smaller plant of the bunch but I just transplanted her into a bigger pot.I'm just drooling to taste these.Mine are under a 4' 8bulb T5 mostly.I set them in the sun every chance I get as they will probaly finish ouside.Good luck with your girls.The LST will definately pay off.

Thanks for stopping by. Yes I did get quite a few freebies from the June promotion. Ended up with 12 seeds and 10 strands for $80. I also have lemon Thai Kush, blue Thai, and a few others I can't remember lol. It was a great opportunity to try out autos and also have a decent stock of photos to clone from. I'm already developing a pretty long list of other strands id like to get in the future.

I picked the blue og and Ultrasour specifically to keep them small and manageable. I'm hoping to LST and SCROG those two plants to fill out my 2x4 tent. We'll see though I might get bored with only 2 plants lol.

I'm hoping to get a similiar T5 setup in the future. I want to use the T5's in my 2x4 as a veg/mother tent and then get a 4x4 for flowering with my 600watt hps.

I have a 8'x8' shed that I use to veg during summer.I have a 2'x4 cabinet on one side with the T5 and a 2'x4' tent with a 600W in a cool tube.Can't run the big light till fall at least.My lemon thai kush and the ultra sour I think would fill my tent on their own.I haven't done any training on them yet as they are growing pretty even.The blue og seems to want a lot of root space.She was root bound at 4 weeks in a 1 gal pot.You can see in the last pic she just doesn't look happy.I put her in a 3 gal pot yesterday and this morning she had all her leaves out straight,doesn't look like the same sad plant.This is her this morning hanging out with her swazi skunk neighbors.Not trying to jack your thread just sharing info on the strains.
