Indoor First Grow 2x4 Tent 600 W HPS

Your going to be a happy man come harvest time. Looking great dude!

Thanks! Couldn't have gotten this far without your help and everyone else's help on this site. It's worked out really well so far. I think the tough part is yet to come. It's going to be hard to stay patient and I'm nervous about harvesting properly lol. My humidity is current at 50% with tons of airflow. Think bud rot will be an issue?

Also, I recently built a window box I'm pretty proud of lol. Looks kind of ghetto but works great. I haven't finished it yet. I basically made a 2x4 box that wedges inside my window frame with black weed liner to block the light out.

When I finish it I'm going to separate the box in two with another 2x4, cover the back in plywood and make an intake on the bottom and exhaust out of the stop. Ill post some pics tonight :)

Looking good there bubbles. How long do you think you will be taking them? I still have no clue how long I will ride mine out... I dont want to piss.away yield, but they seem to be getting noticably closer every day... I guess it is best to let the plants tell you when they are ready, regardless...

As long as RH% isnt over 60 you should be fine man.

Thanks! I figured I was ok. Just getting super paranoid now that I'm so close. Several years ago when I grew that's where things went wrong lol.

Appreciate the reassurance. Another question for ya. Have you been able to get your plants to turn purple at all?

I want to try and get my berry Ryder to have a little purple and so far the only thing I've found is low temps at night. If that's the case I should be in luck because our weather will be in the 60's maybe in 50's by harvest :)

Thanks for stopping by!

TBH I'm not really set on a harvest date. I have some that will be done as early as 9/5 and some that might take til 9/31. That's my hope at least. For all I know some of them might need to go til mid November. Need them to be done ASAP tho because I may be moving by 10/14.

The best I've read for a tell tail on autos is watching the leaves and once they yellow start flushing for 2 weeks.

Dont drop the temps to low past 60's man, that can cause the plants to slow down in growth and if it goes under 50 the plant can stops completly from what ive read. Just be cautious how low you let the temps drop.

Thanks for the tip! Don't think it'll be an issue with this harvest but I do have a spare space heater if needed.

Update Day 54:

All the girls seem to be really healthy. Really no issues to report. They are fattening up and starting to smell better everyday.

I am noticing some distinct differences between some of the plants. Basically I have 3 tall ones with 4 main colas each and then 3 smaller bushier ones with aprox 8-10 colas each. Guess this will be a good test for me to see which method works better.

The critical jack does have very light colored leaves. Not sure what's causing this but the plant still looks really healthy. I am seeing a bit of browning tips on a few possibly gr nute burn or nute def. Not really sure tbh but they still seem really healthy so just going to keep trudging along.

Today I fed them each 4-6 cups of water/feed. One thing I've noticed over the last few weeks is how low the Tiger Bloom drops my PH. I have to add tons of PH up to get it to an acceptable level. I may have to order more PH up soon which is crazy. Normally it just takes a few drops per gallon but I've been using 3-4 full syringes each time.

My feed today included:

1tblspn Big Bloom
2tsp Grow Big
2tsp Tiger Bloom
1tblspn molasses
1tsp epsom salt

4-6 cups each
All per gal with a total of 2gals mixed.

Now it's just a waiting game. Really hoping a few of them are done soon but I think I've got at least 2-3 weeks left. I may be under a time crunch here too unfortunately. I might be moving on Oct 14th. I need to have all of them dried and curing by this date. I really don't want to pull any early. The move isn't for sure yet though. I have an interview today that will give me a better idea. In the meantime here's some pics....

Photos Update:

Well my older seedlings, the Blue OG and Ultrasour, both seem to be stagnant at the moment. Not sure if they are just taking longer due to being photos or if I'm doing something wrong. Right now they're under 20/4 t12's. They are both19 days old and tiny. I haven't added any nutes. Thinking that's my next option. They can't be ready for transplant yet. Let me know what you guys think. Here's a few pics...

My other 2 seedlings under the same lights and in the same soil seem to be doing great. They are both 11 days old.

Finally my pitiful attempt at clones lol. I don't remember having a problem with clones before but these ones sure don't seem to be doing well. I tried planting one in soil with root powder and the other 3 in my bubble bucket. Not seeing any roots I'm the bubble bucket and the soil one seems droopy. They all have purple stems and leaves are starting to turn brown. Do they need a foliar feeding? Or should I throw them and try again? Here's the pics...

The little plant is actually a lemon tree sprout. I reused this pot and apparently a seed was still left :)

Well that's all for now. Sorry it's soooo huge lol. Appreciate any comments or feedback to my questions. Also want to thank everyone on this site I wouldn't be where I'm at without all of your help.

I am no expert in cloning but experience has shown me that:
  • prune the remaining leaves by 50% of a cutting
  • leaf needs high humidity until roots show
  • NEVER take off the humidity dome until roots appear
  • Bloom nutes 1/4 strength when watering(also before cloning in chosen pot)
  • Keep dome at 25C if possible(not too hot and not too cold)
  • Expect some to die
  • Be patient for 2-3 weeks

Things are moving along nicely. The bottom branches of that Blue Cheese look wicked haha. Next grow I am going to have to do some LST action if I intend on putting some more plants in my tent.
