Hey Brad, welcome to AFN. You're in the right place to learn about autos, there's tons of good info here, you should probably start with looking at the stickied threads of the top of every forum. You might look in the coco growing forum first and try to emulate or copy a successful method someone else has tried and proven works.

Generally, with coco, you want to start feeding early in life -- but at a Dilute strength -- since coco doesn't really have much nutrient to support the growing plant.

Your light appears to be much too close as well. I'm not sure about a 250w cfl but probably 18" to start would be okay, I don't think it should be much closer.

I also don't see any circulation fan in the picture. You'll need one if you don't have one already, to keep the air around the plant leaves moving. We assume you already have an exhaust fan to exchange the air in the tent.

Coco, as a medium, messes with calcium and potassium uptake so you'll want to use a coco specific nutes if you can, Canna makes one of course, and other companies often make a coco line as well. I think guys start feeding their seedlings in coco at dilute amounts before the first week of growth ends. Your plants look hungry, let's get some feed going, light at first, then increase if the plants are responding well.

Keep your coco moist, never let it dry out. I'll check the coco stickies and see if there's an easy program to follow and link it here for you. These plants might be fairly stunted, but let's see what we can do and you'll be more well prepared for the next go round.

Yeah, man, there's several tip threads on coco in the coco forum by Truu, Blue, Rebel Roy and others. They all recommend coco specific nutes and proper Ph adjusting once you've mixed your nutrient solution.

Another thread a bit further down the first page in the coco forum had a grower asking about a good feed schedule for Canna A+B, and looks like there were some good ideas flowing in there. It is called something like "How does this nutes schedule sound...?" posted by member TheLearner.

I'm sure there's more out there if you keep digging and reading. You could also post your efforts in a thread in the New Growers Academy and get some more pointers as you go. Tons you can learn here, have fun growing your own meds, bro

:welcome:

:toke: Blaze'- You're at day 20 now you say? I'm afraid the plants are stunted into uselessness at this point... sexing will happen soon, and they won't grow much more beyond that. This looks like sheer starvation mate, coco has nothing in it, plus it's a specialized medium to grow in, with some very different properties vs. soil.-- you cannot treat coco like soil, for nute's, watering, flushing if needed, etc., or there will be pain!... google it and read up,..look up Canna Coco and check out their articles, and of course like Medi' says, read up here too!

Yeah, seeds are expensive. Hopefully you've got some more backstage. Coco is a high performance medium, but perhaps not the easiest one. Read, read, read the coco threads and you'll do fine next time.
