New Grower First Grow(Balcony/Window). Auto Diesel Berry grow journal.

Yea, when they start outside or have been outside for an extended period of time, they are usually a lot slower. In my experience, anyways. Don't worry about her cotyledon leave dying off, that's totally normal. All in all, she looks good, bro. My gurls are usually about the same size at 3 weeks, keep it up!

Personally, I would give her 24/0 lighting or as high as possible lighting hours for the next few weeks. To let her catch up. I notice that when I go 24/0, it shaves a week or two off my grow, without exception. So I think it will help your gurl catch up. Maybe even 22/2. Also, from talking to you, I know your like me and worry about your gurl a lot, I do the same and tend to watter too often (trying to pamper her), from what I have seen, when I let my gurls dry out for a good week (which is soooo very hard for me to do, lol!) I see a huge growth spurt. I also like to use 1 drop of superthrive per gallon when my gurls aren't looking too hot. They say a damaged plant on superthrive will grow to be bigger that she would be if she wasnt damaged at all! The damage to her works to your benefit... Apparently. I've never not used superthrive, so I can't really say if it is true or not :\

The reason why i went 18/6 is because the 'dark period' is when it's really hot here so i guess i should let her have some rest and not get any heat stress but my thermometer should be arriving anytime soon so hopefully i know the temperature and humidity in my grow room. I read that it wasn't recommended to change the lighting schedule or else the plant might get confused ? I'm not too sure about that anyway. Currently i only have one bloom fertilizer but then i'm hoping that for my next grow i can upgrade my grow room and also order some nutrients online. I was wondering since my grow room is so small whether i should grow one plant in a 10 litre pot or 2 plants in 5-6 litre pots. Yeah i'm always checking on my girl to see if she is alright and it's so hard to resist pampering her more but i should just let her do her things like how nature intended. I was still thinking if i should continue LST as i only have 2 CFL vertically and i'm afraid the lower leafs might not get enough light.

Guys if i were to let my water sit with an open lid for the chlorine to evaporate, will dust or any other pathogens get in the water or it doesn't matter ? And also the water bottle i'm using has a small cap and does the chlorine evaporation still works ?

Day 26 Report

3 days later and here we go, another report. Usually i wait a week till i water but then this time round after 3 days the pot feels light and the top is crusty dry. Maybe i will wait 4-5 days before i water again to let it have more of a dry cycle. This plant looks so compact and there isn't much stretch at the highest node and i can't even see the main branch(when i'm looking for pistils) because the leaves are all together and blocking.

I have not fed any nutes since i planted and i was wondering if my plants is underfed or have any N deficiency ? Some of the lower plants have a lighter green colour but the stems ain't red/purplish. There are a few leaves with spots but they ain't bad i think and i have no idea why.

I still don't see any pistils yet just stipules and hopefully it shows it's female sex soon. I also have a feeling they are growing very slowly (maybe compare this pictures to the previous report's picture?).

Check out the pictures and please give some advices or just tell me if everything is okay and i should just chill, would defo help me :)

yeah i would start giving her a light dose of veg nutes bro, as you said they look a little hungry for N, you could also try raising your light to help with the node spacing, i hope this helps a little

Excellent grow thread!

Looks a bit nitrogen deficient. Try to get some horse/cow manure and mix it with water. about 10 grams per 2L of water. Mix it, and let it stay in the water for 2-3 hours to dissolve the manure, then water it lightly.

She looks hungry.

Right now i only have a fertilizer with a ratio of 6-10-4 (bloom nute) and i don't have any veg nutes. What i'm thinking of helping my plant right now is to either add more compost to the top or i should just start feeding it with the fertilizer on the next watering ? What do you guys suggest ?

if you give it bloom nutes now you will lose a lot of bud production as it will stop growing and start flowering, has it shown sex yet? how far away are the lights? it really needs N by the looks of it

It hasn't show sex yet, i don't see any pistils coming out. My lights are 1-2 inches away. What other options do i have if i don't have any veg nutes ?
