My opinion is pre-Harvest flushing even using organic nutrients is a good thing. In fact flushing your plants every so often will not do them any harm. I feel giving them a good flush the last 10-14 days helps with the final taste of the buds. We like to have the fan/bud leaves give them all the left over nutrients. Doing a pre-harvest flush does just that. Washes all the left over nutrients or what ever is in the soil. Some growers use molasses (carbo load) the plant; so the fan/bud leaves have that extra energy to give the bud sites. Somestimes giving the girls more water than usual will do the trick. It's not the amount of water, but the frequence the plant gets it that causes problems.
Remember the girls are trying to reproduce; they swell up because they are horny for pollen. They will use what ever energy to stay allive. The pre-harvest flush helps that.
I'm not an expert and I don't claim to be one; but flushing is helpful in any growing stage, but before harvest is always a good idea.
So you think I should flush on the next water and proceed to only use water for the remainder of my grow?
