Harvest & Curing First grow - closer to harvest - macro of trichomes, or few weeks off

I am personally thinking, it must be getting closer to harvest, using my camera macro, i noticed some amber trichomes, and also got a cheap microscope on the way 60x, was only $7 but will see how it goes.


For storage, i am thinking ball mason jars

The breeder says 65-75 days for the Northern Lights Blueberry auto. I am at day 57, and some new buds starting right at the base, well pislels.

I have a couple of pocket scopes and they work fine. Snip a tiny piece of bud and put it under. These days I use a usb cam for my trichome checks. Balls mason jars will do the job. Happy harvest.

FYI: It's generally a good idea to add a week or two to the published grow time.

I check for thrips by taking a branch and shaking over a piece of white cardboard. They fall out, and depending on the number I see, I might decide to spray. So far, most effective has been a mix of AzaMax and Dr. Bonner's Peppermint Soap. Of course, you need a spraw want that will let you spray up underneath the plant, so you are coating the bottoms of the leaves as well as the tops.
