Hello all, I just want to start off by saying I love this site. I have already received so much help from the members and information from old posts.

I have kind of been slacking on setting up this grow journal. I am a little over a week into my grow, so I have quite a lot of pictures and information to share!

Once again, this is my first grow ever, and I'm very eager to learn anything and everything. Please share any tips if you got me!

Three 1/4 in wholes on the bottom and two 1/4 inch wholes on the side for ventilation and drainage.

Tempurate Control
I have my tent set up in a back room with an ac set off to the side. On the downside, its a crappy ac that sometimes doesnt blow out, and the back room can get kind of cold at night.

I have ph meter and a better thermometer on there way to me in the mail along with a bottle of ph up and down.

May 8th-12th

May 8th(morning) - Germinated 2 nothern light seed in between a paper towel

May 9th(morning) - Plant #1 popped!
May 9th(night) - Plant #2 popped!

May 10th(midday) - Planted both seeds tap root down in a pre-watered 5 gallon bucket.

May 11th(midday) - Plants #1 broke the surface. Started 400w MH at 3ft above plant.

May 12th(morning) - Plant #1 was growing away from light with light yellow spot on corner. I lowered intensity on light to 200w.

May 12th(night) - Plants #2 broke the surface but it was completely covered by the seed and the stem was twisted. I very carefully dropped water onto seed and removed the shell with tweezers. After taking that off, i had to remove a clear coating and then the leaves started to show. (Next time i will plant deeper to avoid this)

May 13th - Both plants look better, especially plant #2. Added a little bit of water around both plants. Will start to increase light intensity and lower lights slowly.

May 16th-May 18th

May 16th - The second set of leaves are starting to grow! (or the first set of true leaves?) Also, the lights are back to 400w intensity and sitting about 1 1/2 feet above the plant.

Week 2

May 18th - Plant #2 (1 1/2 inches tall) is looking very nice! Its actually outgrowing #1(1 1/4 inch tall) My only concern, which you cant see in the pic, is that plant #2 has a slightly purple stem. I have attached some pics. The first two are of plant #1. The remaining are pics of plant #2.

I had had purple stems on my northern lights and quite a few strains recently, think its just genetics....

Looks good man! Don't worry about those stems, doesn't mean anything.. I'm subbing up for your grow, my girls popped on May 11 so I'll be comparing notes with ya!

Looking good! One of my plants is Northern Lights Automatic too, just from Sensi Seeds. Even though my plants are a week older they're only a bit stretched but otherwise the same.
