New Grower First Grow Journal- Northern Light Auto

I don't use any bottled nutes with salts in them, so there's no point. Over saturating the soil can cause PH fluctuation as well. I would only flush if I had too much of a buildup of nutes, which doesn't seem to be your problem. Can you tell us the exact ph of both your soil and your feed?

The feed is 7.0 and runoff is 5.0

I hear ya. Some folk still be shocked when I go to roll a spliff and theyre all "You can skin up!... N ur a girl!" I'm 26 and I've been smoking weed f almost a decade. Be hard t do that if I didn't. Never get suspected of doin owt dodgy though which is a cheeky bonus :-p

sooo...im in the US so in layman's terms this- " Never get suspected of doin owt dodgy though which is a cheeky bonus :-p" meeaaannnsss.....what? lol

Im also assuming 'skin up' means to roll. And under that assumption, lol, Im 27 been smoking OVER a decade, and I cant roll to save my life hahah. Ironically though, my younger brother can roll a damn good blunt and my dad can roll the perfect joint. And I mean, perfectly round like a cigarette, perfect doob haha. Musta skipped me ;)

GiGi - your new name courtesy of..well..me lol. Im just too lazy to type grow girl and GG is lame hahahah

okay. so absolutely 110,000% DO NOT listen to me, and SOLELY me. Get another or even a few opinions before doing anything. Im not being responsible for advising you to do the wrong thing lol.
THAT BEING SAID.

From what I understand, just about all autos take longer than advertised. Im assuming you're growing RoyalQueen NL.
And the advertised on RQS is 9-10 weeks from planting. Heres my situation just so you can get a clearer picture of what Im trying to say lol So one of the strains im running is AutoMaria2 by Paradise seeds. Now, Paradise claims she's ready to harvest in 60 days (8 weeks) from seed. And from seed, I am on day 73 and just recently started showing signs of being almost ready. The grow report on paradise says she grows in veg for 14 days and then for the next 60-65 days enters a 'violent flowering' period. So that right there, tells me that the advertised 60 days is more of a time spent flowering than a 'you can chop in 60 days from seed'. That being said - If iiiiiiiiii were you, go back to the first day you saw pistils and start your advertised 7-9 weeks from that day. Because while she is pretty, she is no where near done lol..and that being said, personally, i would add nutes...
I know nothing about the FF nutes you're using so I wouldn't know what to advise you to use - amount wise.
But I DID google them to find out the NPK#. And the only reason Im saying this is because someone said it to me - now that you are on your way with the flowering, you need to up your P and K. Also you should be adding blackstrap molasses to your waterings/feedings. If I remember correctly, it's a cal mag boost and feeds the microbes in the soil. happy microbes=happy plants. But again, DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT lol I can't stress that enough.
As far as your PH goes - I don't own a PH pen. I DO have a ph test kit from General Hydroponics. I think it was like...15 bucks on Amazon Prime (which is SO worth the 80 bucks a year lol) and it came with phUP and down. You dont get an exact number like you would with a pen, but unless you are color blind *it ranges from green to red lol* its super easy to use and instead of trying to use dolomite lime, which apparently takes time, you can immediately ph your water to where you want it. Check your run off, and adjust accordingly on the next water/feed.

Laughing so hard!!! Seems hilarious when you just quote that small section!! Lmao!! So in English... because I'm a fem not many people expect me to be a drug taking weed grower... Which aids in keeping under wraps the fact that I'm a drug taking weed grower! Lol.
Skinning up is indeed rolling a spliff :) My mum had me rolling hers f her from about 13 (think it must skip generations cus my mum makes an awful spliff, lol) so I consider myself a pretty good roller... Straight as you like. Never understood people's obsession with coning. Just leaves you with a baggy spliff that burns down faster if you ask me. But each t there own and all that.

Hey growgirl! What I did was, I bought some good quality soil, and put it on top of one baBY was in and I think it worked great! Also you can try to foliar spray them with correct Ph should be okay. Anyways, dont water them with so high ph, use normal ph of 6.0-6.5 and you should be okay imo. Looking good anyways! Good luck with the rest of the grow :)

Have you tried foliar feeding? I'm having low PH issues at the mo and she seemed t stop growing but been spraying her the last couple o days and she's beasting it again. Must of grown about 3 inches overnight :-D

Hey growgirl :) Apologies f the hijack. New t forum and I'm not really sure of the etiquette. Shall keep it all things growtiful as of... now :)
Don't know wether you saw my original post so here it is again.
I am a full on noobius maximus so i wouldnt listen t a word i say f the most part but a bit o foliar feed really did sort my plants out. The tops and bottoms of leaves and from what I've read it's best t do it just after your light comes on because that's when leaf stomatas open.. And ensure you temps are under 80F or they won't open at all... From what I read. Hope it all sorts out. Peace, Chandy.

Thanks for your advise everyone, I've been feeding a bit more and it seems to be doing a little better, some leaves are still dying and developing spots but it slowed down a lot. Here's a few pictures of my plant and her buds, what do you think?

you're doing good :) Just keep it doing, maybe u will see in few days that the plant's gone darker, then u know u hit the spot:) imo. Anyways you got a nice bud there!: )
