New Grower First Grow Journal- Northern Light Auto

Looks fantastic! You should be satisfied....:)

Hey guys, the harvest has been drying for four days now! I have an oscillating fan in the room but not blowing directly on it, it's pretty much pointed in the complete opposite direction. I haven't been home to check in it since day 2 of drying, but the humidity has been around 53% and the temperature 76. No light has been allowed in, but for some reason, it doesn't smell like weed. It doesn't really smell like hay or citrus either. I don't know what it smells like, but it doesn't smell as strongly of weed as it did when it was fresh. I don't think I dried too quickly, since they're still hanging
and the stems don't snap in half yet. What's going on? Is my weed going to be bad? The buds have shrunk a LOT.

The smell will come back with the cure. I didn't read the journal but from the title I assume that it's a northern lights. In my experience it isn't real stinky anyway, but damn good smoke!!!!! The NL's I've grown (photos not autos though) put a lot of there weight on in the last 2 weeks or so. So if taken a week early they would shrink up a lot more then if taken late. Even so they shrink. Gotta remember it's like 70% water weight when they're chopped. I'm sure it'll be good smoke. NL never fails to please me.

Agree that cure will bring out the delicious NL smell. If you're concerned it's overly dry you could always get a Boveda.

I took it down from hanging and put it into a couple mason jars! I'm hoping to go grab another jar tomorrow because right now both are pretty full and I want to give them room to breathe! Anyway, you guys were right, as soon as I put it into the jars, the smell started to come back! Weighs 33.4 grams (:
