I will most likely go with the pro mix on the next grow, after I let it cook for a few weeks that is!!

Well depends on what pro-mix u get..some have no ferts..i cook mine because i added castings fresh and that made the soil too hot. Just look sround you can find good soil or order it..take a trip to the hydro store..or you can do a TLO soil with your own mycro mix and ferts then you will only need to water the plants with ph water and molasses mix for the hole harvest..thats what im working toward...clean and EZ check TLO for dummies thread! best read.

Hey doobie, the pro mix I'm most likely to get is the BX as its the only one sold locally. I've heard lots of people say they love it so I guess I'll give it a go! Here's a few pics from last night:

As you can tell they are still battling the dog piss incident but have progressive new growth so I think they will be OK. If you guys have any tips to help me out please let me know. I've been spraying the at least twice a day with a molasses and Epsom salt mix and it seems to have helped out a good bit!!

Hey man if you're gonna pick up promix bx I recommend you amend it with something to lower the ph. When promix is dry the ph is 7-7.2 which is a little too high for weed. I don't remember exactly what it was muddy suggested to use for amending promix but if I were you I'd send him a message and find out. It will save you a lot of problems in the future :thumbs: I've been getting awesome results with straight promix so if you amend yours it should grow some killer buds

I just chopped a lady down last night, she was the first I had ever grown in promix-bx, with nothing but added perlite. I am in love with it now, so easy. Good luck I hope all goes well with your grow my friend. Also as a couple others have said, refer to posts/info from Muddy, simply a promix guru L4

to start thats good but best is making your own starting with a neutral soil then adding mycros and amendments and letting it cook for 45 days.

Once again thanks for all the help with this grow guys!! Its been a rough one with multiple power outages, switching light from cfl to led in the middle of the grow, to my dog pissing on new seedling! Lol but on a side note, for the hobbit to be described as a low odor plant she smells delicious!!
