Hi guys

First timer to the horticulture world :)
Thank you for those of you who have put a wealth of knowledge on this site already, it really helps point us newbies in the right direction. I am now 4 weeks into the first setup with two 11L soilpots and a one pot bubbling aeros dwc system with a air cooled 250w HPS and 300W LED (180 atthe mains)combo. Using RQS Auto dwarf and Diesel in the soil and Auto Jack in the DWC.
I must say the DWC is not looking good at all and I believe there are some early signs of root rot issues but maybe i will start a seperate thread on that one.

Here are some pics so far, please share your thoughts and comments!

Hello Sir,

eP at your service. DWC is not my bag, but there are many here who will only be to pleased to help you out.

Welcome to AFN, eP.

Thanks EP for the welcome, glad to be a part of the community.
Trying to stay out the garden atm lol its exciting stuff!

Hey Jack And Root, thank you both for the welcome :)

Root, When you mention spending time with them must admit sometimes when tending to the garden I get the tunes going with a nice smoke on. Lol the mrs thinks im crazy but no doubt the plants appreciate it. Just wish the dwc appreciated as much :/

Heres a link to another thread on the dwc issue if anyone fancies a look :

Welcome SirTokesAlot
You should probably add another air stone to your DWC. I've found that when you think you have enough air, add some more. It will only help. LOL
Also I add with every feeding and top off some Regen-a-Root from CX Hydroponics. This stuff will help your roots out.
:welcome:

cheers pyrokev, pleasure to be here.
two airstones in there at the moment and its a nice jacuzzi, no sure another would fit :P
I was looking into picking up the H2O2 or voodoo Juice next trip to the shop but is this Regen -A- Root a better alternative? (its cheaper than AN) CX seems interesting enough from the manufacturers review and it sounds the ticket for my situation as the root system shows brown signs in patches throughout.

What do you think i should go for of the three options?

Ive only used regen-a-root, With great results. It was suggested to me by my local Hydro shop, and they sell all kinds of products for the root's & they highly recommend it. Peace Bro and good luck
