Grow Room First Grow with Super Box

Thanks for starting this thread ... I'm planning to get the super box also ..... And will be contacting the Technaflora folks directly about how the recipe for success should be modified for AFs. Is the door supposed to be closed all the time ?

Good News toematoe ... I contacted Technaflora yesterday .... and they answered my email within minutes ...... They said to follow the Recipe for Success as written. It looks as though these products and the Super Box were developed entirely to work with Auto Flower plants ..... I should have figured this out by the size of it.. I'm waiting for my first seeds to arrive and will buy a Super Box as soon as they arrive. BTW ... your's is the one from SuperCloset ????

Correct were using the same one.

Day 5 almost and no sprout yet, I'm going to begin germinating a side seed just in case with a paper towel method. I think I killed them but I'll leave them running just in case till week one is over who knows maybe they surprise me. Next time I'm going to invest in a humidity dome and heat mat.

Also had a temp spike when I shut off the carbon filter which resulted in the temp to rise to 107 within the box. That might have did it

Just started germing another dark devil hopefully this one pops cause this is getting expensive. Used rockwool but followed the instruction that came with the cubes. 5.5ph , soak for 10 secs, place in baggie for humidity and placed seed In wool. Humidity has gone up since I shut the small fan off.

They're poppin!! Can't believe I didn't kill them. Now I'm really scared on what to do, I'm watering the wool every two days. Now at which point would you guys recommend setting my top feed on the timer. Supercloset recommends 15 min on every four hours but at which point in the seedlings life should I start, or even at which point should I begin using the root 66 and sugar daddy that are recommended for the transplanting stage. Any tips help or I'll just be winging it :)

I just went through the same thing...just do something to keep yourself busy....Noon on day 3, nothing. 6PM on day 3 boom, there she was. If you didn't keep it too wet, it's probably on its way.
Sometimes they get buried a little further than intended and take a little longer to surface. Give it until morning. It can take up to 4 or 5 days. Don't go digging and rooting around, either.

It's tough waiting...

I'm waiting on 2 others as well. All Dark Devils. I soil germed the first one, and while waiting for number one I worried that I had mushed it so I paper toweled 2 more...the first poked it's head hours later and both paper towel seeds showed taproots within 48 hrs. I suspect from what I have seen that Sweet Seeds have a very high germination rate.

Should have listened lol they popped all three today on day 5, and I'll have the extra 4th in the box now haha. Time to build a Scrog net

Just clear wrapped all the extra holes to contain the humidity of the reservoir. Air pump going and all three have sprouted with #4 probably popping in the next day or so. I'll put my main focus on the first three for starters. uploadfromtaptalk1399009033529.jpguploadfromtaptalk1399009063802.jpg

Thanks ....... I wouldn't have thought about blocking the extra holes. Also .... is a scrog needed .... I thought AF's didn't like them or topping for that matter. ????
