Grow Room First Grow with Super Box

Day 22. The biggest lady has hopefully stopped the spots , it moved to the second tier of leaves and should stop there. Cleaned the res and added in full strength nutes 990 ppm , little short of the 1100 on the chart but I'm fine with it. I made sure to provide the full dose of magical as well. Fan is placed up high facing the door due to the cloose quarters causing too much movement at an early stage. With the fan the only downfall is humidity, gets down to high 20's even with several glass' of water inside. Have been considering buying a mini humidifier but i haven't been able to find a compact one which is safe or trusted. Any advice would be great, but the temp is down which is good since it was a bit hott inside to begin with. Below I'll have photo updates for everything as well. uploadfromtaptalk1400362636006.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362664632.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362680658.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362695003.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362728708.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362742952.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362754669.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400362763926.jpg

Would anyone recommend clipping those bottom two leaves where the yellowing started?

If leave em and let them fall off by themselves, and they will. First set of leaves rarely make it till harvest.

Spotting is spreading considering doing a 2 days flush right now but don't know if I should do straight water or add cal/mag to it. Any pointers? uploadfromtaptalk1400438068501.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400438079857.jpg

Flushing the res right now, just picked up some purified water and filled the res, gonna give them about 2-3 days then go back to vegging. The roots don't look great, little goopy, so I washed the resevoir with dish soap and dried it well, wiped off all the cords. uploadfromtaptalk1400450035335.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400450051201.jpg

Had a fun and long Sunday today building a Scrog net with some limited tools but looks pretty great. There's a photo update on the calcium deficiency as well, she's taken lots of damage hopefully she can pull through. 1-2 more days on flush, then will return to full strength nutes. Should serve the back lady well too, she had a very light green tint to her. uploadfromtaptalk1400468905614.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400468918518.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400468929023.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400468939025.jpg

Great looking Scrog net. I've not seen one in such a small enclosed space. I understand that you have to empty and refill your reservoir each week ..... and I was wondering that in a few weeks when your gals are really filling up the box and the Scrog ...... how are you going to do this without disturbing them so much ?

Thanks, turkey baster and lots of patients. It's already a pain to begin with but for future I'll just empty 1/3 - 2/3 with the water pump, then slowly with a turkey baster remove the rest. It's all I've come up with so far. If it needs cleaning I can just shut off light and slide the Scrog up along with the lid then remove the res slowly without disturbing the roots, typically I get some Tupper ware and place the roots inside of them till I'm done cleaning

Some changes today, stopped flushing, have had some bad ph issues here in there but have corrected them as fast as I could, hopefully my digital ph reader gets here soon. But I switched to 3 quarter strength nutes, with full dose of magical though. Sadly this spotting has spread to the fan leaves of my two other ladies but doesn't look as bad as the main one, but she does seem to be producing some newer growth to compensate for all that so hopefully they pull through. uploadfromtaptalk1400610576651.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400610593763.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400610619617.jpguploadfromtaptalk1400610632178.jpg

Thanks ..... I appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences and your ingenuity when it comes to working in this grow box setup.
