New Grower First grow

Hi first grow attempt . Nirvana northern lights one plant in 3 gal soil in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 4 foot high box. Seen a mars hydro 300 on cl for 80 bucks. is this light sufficient to grow from seed to finish or should i add cfls to the box? Planned on 20/4 sched. Am i on track??? any info. much appreciated

That's a nice light for the money. I have 2 of them. Might be too much for a space that small, I have a ( now MarsHydro was Topled ) 180 watt UFI style in a space about the same size as yours, and it works perfectly, has good coverage.

You should look at one of their UFO lights like pop22 has there in his grow. They are really good lights, and come with a 3 year warranty if you order off their website. I just finished a Northern Lights X Big Bud under a Mars II 400 watt, and they are very powerful ights. If you just got that one UFO light it would be perfect for your size grow.
