Grow Mediums First hydro grow seven white widow one fruit auto

There is light at the end of the tunnel. After much reading here and hours of sitting around thinking this over and the hardiness of this amazing little plant the auto white widow there are growing !!! Yes they are probably stunted but they are going to live and produce something I am again excited. I have done many things wrong from not enough nutes to too much and now I think I found the middle yea ! This becomes easier to do the testing adjusting etc, when your plants look better every time you see them!
Thanks to all who post on afn without their post and the search feature I would be lost. I am still lost but soon it will be in the green I am lost in lol

Just did a quick check for res temp and it looks like 60-65 Fahrenheit should be where you want to be. Glad to hear you still got them striving.

Thx spellbound the white widow is tough little girl but I think I found where I need to be for now at least the girls are saying so ! Thx for checking in I think I might need to wrap my buckets in something I am a little warmer at around 72-75 and it's as cold as it gets here with nightly lows in the high 30 outside temps. My grow room is about a low of 70 high of 80.

can you get some pics up dude ? .

what nutes are in the bucket & PPM/PH ? :smokebuds::pop:

Ok cocha thx for checking in I can upload some pics but to be honest of I haven't because I consider this a failure on my behalf but I have things turned around so I will load some pics soon ph is around 850 and the ph is I keep between 5.5,6.5 bucket temps between 72-74 and air temps between 70-80

I am using gh flora serious nutes ppm at 850

ppm is to high for babies that size mate ...somewhere between 350 & 500 max should be ok .& the PH swing to 6.5 is prob the main cause of stunting ...you need to check it as often as poss & adjust if needed .If everything is light tight then Ph should stay stable after a few days so check for leaks & cover them up anywhere you find them ...someone asked me why you need a light tight res & PH flying up all the time is a pretty good reason..you shoud be able to keep PH reasonably stable & not be swaying up 6.5 bro thats not good :smokebuds:also babys love root stim & lots of it in DWC .... for the 1st 2 weeks all I run is rhizotonic @ full & formulex upto about 550PPM (but thats baby food )

ps..... what are you growing in dude ?... can we get some pics of the whole set up ? :Coolio: have you thought about just grabbing an oxypot ?... I had all these issues with my home made set up & threw in away after getting a bubble bucket just cos It worked & my home made set up didn't :D:

Thx for your help dwcocha I will upload pics tommorow don't want to open shed door too much after dark. My buckets do stabilize after a couple days and I will lower the ph as well I thought as long as it stayed between 6.5-5.5 it was ok but I will keep it lower bro. The ppm maybe high but all I got at lower ppm is lime green nothing at least now something is happening. I do appreciate your help as I am failing badly.
By the way it is a gh aqua farm the buckets are light brown should be fairly light tight but I will make sure.

The temptation to throw your whole range at a plant that looks ill is a classic one & we all have done it RP ... It the worst thing you can do tho bro ... Less is more at the start & even more so with auto's .

Your PH is the 1 most important thing in hydro ... your PH meter is your best friend or worst enemy (if not calibrated !) ...5.5 -5.6 for babys (1st 2-3 weeks) ...then up to 5.7 through veg ....then 5.8 -6.0 in bloom & the rest of the grow :smokebuds:
