mmm...nope what kind of ph meter do you use? i searched for some ph meters that the brand hanna has and theres a whole bunch of them....does it have to be a soil ph meter or water? i really do not know all of this....

I agree, most likely a pH issue. All the Hanna products are good. I use the Combo, which also measures ppm, which can come in handy sometimes. But even one of their lower end ones that only checks pH would be good. A liquid one is what you need for now. You can use it to adjust the pH of your feeds, then capture some of the water that run out the bottom of the pots and check the pH of it. That will be a good indicator of where your soil pH is at. Also get some 7.01 calibration, cleaning and storage solutions.

went to buy the ph meter and found the big surprise on how expensive they are!!....well at least here in south america...so i was talking to the guy on the grow shop and told me that the cheapest solution is the paper type ph meters
hahaha don't know if this could still do the trick cous i'm kinda short on ze money to make that buy right now.............do you still recomend the paper ph meter? or it's not worth it

The paper testers are only accurate to about .5, which isn't really enough. They are better than nothing though. Yes, a good pH meter can be expensive. The Hanna Combo goes for $130 here. But they pay for themselves pretty quickly with the increased yields you get when maintaining the proper pH. Hanna also makes some lesser expensive ones, like The Champ, which sell for under $50. They only do pH, where the Combo also measures TDS and PPM, but pH is all you really need to be concerned with right now.

i have the paper ph tester right now and gonna test the water later tonite...i'm at work now....but just to make sure the waters ph has to be at which point 6,2?? the paper taster has a range of 6,2-6,8-7,2-7,8-8,4 here it says that 7,2-7,8 is the way to go but that's for pool water ......

Ideally you want it to be around 6.2 - 6.3, but up to 6.5 is okay. Are you going to be feeding your plants tonight? If so, mix your feed and record it's pH. Then feed the plants and capture some of the water that runs out the bottom. Test and record that also. Let me know what you find.

aite bro's last night did the ph test of my water and clearly it was off....none the less i think the yellowing of my plants was due to over fert. first of all i tested the water and my ph was at somewhere between 8,0! so to that i added some lemon drops(read that this was one way to reduce your ph) until my ph level was about 6,2, ofcourse all of this using the paper strips that is not that accurate but something is something
that's pretty much what i did...also took pictures of my plants without the hps so you guys could see the real color of them....they all look well and the yellowing seemed to have stopped
all ze girls are about 52cms tall and starting to get a little worried about the height cous my box is 100cms.
