Thanks for the warm welcome.
I decided to do a grow because I was diagnosed with a health condition about a year ago.
Done grows before, but this is my first auto.
It's the only thing that helps me cope with the disease I have.
I'm taking loads of prescription drugs which make me feel crap.
So, that's me.
I did so much reading to start with, I just got totally confused by it all.
People seem to have success with different methods of caring for their plants, so you think it would be easy..ha!
My grow.
I chose fast bud, because I heard it was a forgiving plant.
Once I get over all my mistakes, I will do some more research on medicinal plants.
I think my growing conditions are ok, it's the watering and nutes I think I am messing up.
I'm using cana coco plus mixed with perlite.
Vitalink coir growth and bloom.
P.h. of 5.7 with run off about 5.8.
With my first attempt, some of them thrived, then some of them remained about 4 inches high.
I tried again, and all the seedlings turned yellow within a week, stunted growth.
My healthier plants which are coming up for 6 weeks are about 80cm tall.
The lower leaves of my bigger plants and some of the upper ones have various problems.
In my ignorance, I thought that I had given them nute burn, but looking through various posts on here, I think they are actually deficient.
I have only been feeding them 2ml per litre of growth every other feed.
I also hadn't read about root stimulator, so some Vitalink bio plus arrived yesterday.
I have just planted a few more seeds.
I used the paper towel method, they sprouted, I put them into peat plugs and into the coco.
2 of them have popped above the surface today.
This is when I get very very nervous.
It says on the bio plus to feed transplants 2ml to each litre of nutrient once a week into the cubes until ready to transplant on
I have already put the seedlings into their final 11 ltr pots.
Then it goes on to tank mixing, which I'm not, and says to add 1ml to every 10 ltrs of watering every time I water.
So, don't know which to go for?
When do I feed them nutes?
Some say wait a week, some say from day 0?

Don't give them nues until they have at least three sets of true leaves or she could get burned. Then when you start feeding them start with a weak dose and add more as they get larger.

Sherwood,................coya can be a handfull for first time growers,.............as these substrates can throw ph probs throwing off your feed ph etc..................

Plants show greater sensitivities to 'Nutrition" in non soil mediums. As soil is a buffer coir isant. You mentioned ph sherwood..........do you have or are you Ec'ing your res tank ??...you have ph pen do you have EC pen ?/...........during and at the end of making your feed res for the week you should ec your res sherwood.....??

A lot of coir boy's use RO water (Reverse Osmosis) "Pure" water. As it dont contain any salts from your incoming tap water. This calcium in tap water above 300ppm will affect your EC reading when setting up nutes. Take the EC of your tap water. Then if you want and Ec of 1.2 nute feed.....................add this to your tap water ec. ie tap water 1.1 ec + 1.2 = run EC at 2.3.........to give a nute ratio of 1.2 feed ec..........hope this helps with the medicine ......AB..............

PS; for medi canna you need high levels of CBD & CBC.........Dutch passion seed company have just released a special medi canna in cahoots with the CBD crew seed company.............ave a look m8...........AB...........

I thought that you did EC reading if you are growing in hydro?
Could be the cause then.
I will take a look at the seeds you mention, thanks.
