Outdoor First Outdoor Grow --- Think Different

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay, I just think it's a bit boring to watch when a plant is so young!

So now we've had a decent week of Sun and rain The TD is starting to gather some momentum. So attached is a picture of her sunbathing yesterday :drool:



I think I'm going to drill a hole in the pot and tie the top down to get some light to the lower leaves and hopefully make this thing bushy.

The only issue I'm having is that the leaves (mainly on the sunny side) are curling quite a lot. Any ideas? Looking forward to seeing everyones summer crops. :group:

Check for a nutrient deficiency on your leaf curl. I have four TD on day 80 outdoors. They continue to fatten up with solid buds and I'm going to let them go another 10 days or so. All were very bushy w/o tying down branches. Good Luck with your grow! Dutch Passion states a 9 week harvest from seed, but several grows on youtube are showing 85-100 day harvests. There is a post from Muddy on when to harvest I strongly recommend you read.

When leaf tips curl down it's usually a sign of too much N, not a dep problem. The plant looks healthy to me, but it would help if you took pictures from a couple of angles.

Thanks guys. I'm liking this strain do far. Loads of growth appearing all over.

I'll try and get a few pics tomorrow so you can check out the curly leaves. It's definitely starting to pick up the pace now. Everyday it's looking so much bigger!

Yea could be stress ..looks like the leaves are deflated balloons lol Lets see what they look like in a day or 2.

Also forgot to mention I gave some TNT complex yesterday to try and counteract it so fingers crossed!

It doesn't look like nutrient stress of any kind...might be running slightly deficient but nothing that'd cause that. I've seen similar deformation/twisting in root bound plants but I've also seen mutants look like that. You may just have a genetic anomaly...in general they grow out of it.

You may want to look for aphids or other pests. I know offhand aphids release a sticky substance that causes wonky leaf growth. I had some on my eggplants this year and had all kinds of leaf nonsense going on that I thought was my doing. Once I figured it out and got some ladybugs/neem everything went back to normal.

So upon further inspection it's bugs!!

I've picked as many off as I can but that's never going to work. I've now ordered a load of ladybirds to eat them!
