Outdoor First Outdoor Grow --- Think Different

Hi guys,

So the plant has been left outside for a while now and is really getting some bushiness!

Today I tied the top down some more and also one of the lower branches.

I took some photos for you all to see how quickly she's grown! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372865675.760184.jpg

This is before I tied today and then the rest are after, doesn't look at all like a conventional plant, I'd recommend it for garden stealth!

Hi,

It's been a couple of weeks since my last post but here's a few photos of how the Think Different is looking now. Lots of white hairs and it really is a monster!

Gave her some bloom nutes this morning to give her a hand (not that it needs it)!

Should be ready soon, I can't wait!!

Nice grow! :)

Sorry, won't be so soon. Looks like another 5-6 weeks to go. :( How old is it and what nutes do you use?

I grow three TD's outdoors myself and they are about the same flowering stage as yours, currently 60 days old

Here is most recent pic of it at day 55 (or 56?) :stylez rasta smoke:

Hi Toker,

Thanks for that, I have since realised it'll be a while longer, the progress is really good, crystals are appearing everyday now which is great news!

Really like the look of your plant, they're such strong plants and it's responded really well to all lst I've done. I've also been experimenting with supercropping. It worked really well early on but no certain about the more recent bend I've done as the stem was a lot firmer than when it was vegging.

I think it's on day 74 since planted but it did take a while to pop.

I've been using batmix soil so haven't used much nutrients, just the occasional feed of hesi bloom complex. I'm thinking towards the end I might use a little phosphorus to give it an extra boost but it's not struggling at all on its own at the moment.

Thanks for the advice. Look forward to seeing how yours turns out!

Just a quick update on the super cropping, I read on here (can't remember where) about doing it during flowering. At first it didn't seem very happy and was floppy for a couple of days. So I decided to tape it and now it's recovered and the bud is looking really healthy!

Really impressed with how much abuse this strain can take.

Looking really good bro!!

I got a Think different growing too, planted about 4-5 weeks after/later than yours, so good to think my plant could look like this in a few weeks! I'm gonna start LST'ing mine now I've seen how well yours has done with it!

Lovely plant, monster auto strain too by looks of things!

I'm also growing Dutch Passion Star-Ryder and AutoXtreme too and think they're not too far off what Think Different can yield, so happy days!

How long you got left on em dya think? What are they bout 10 weeks old or summin? Guessing 2-3 ish weeks to go???

Good luck in your final furlong dude, looks like you could even get couple of OZ+ off it if the weather stays nice!

:dance2:

Looking good Greggers I would love to do a outdoor but BUGSSSS lol I did grow a some flowers just to see how bug in my area are and they didnt really touch them..i saw them all around flying eating other plants then a cat dug out some dirt and pooped in the flower bed and hit the roots of one..and the bugs went to town on it then after the plant recovered they stopped lol seems to match up to what im reading that bugs wont or cant attack a healthy plant.Looks like you are getting us a few more updates TY

Hi everyone.

It's now day 95!!! Been checking the microscope and there's a lot of cloudy trichs. Just a little longer and I'll harvest :D

Sorry it's been so long, had to go away for a couple of weeks but the plant has grown a lot in that time.

Slugs and snails have been the biggest problem. I've tried copper, with no success. Beer has been my saviour. As soon as you put a container of beer down they detour from the plant, straight into the container and drown. At least they die drunk!

The pests seem to prefer the lower leaves, which I was probably going to trim back anyway, so it hasn't slowed things down too much.

I'm hoping it'll be no longer than a week now as I really can't be dealing with my supplier anymore!

CHECK OUT THESE BUDS!!!!

This is the main cola, weighs 23.3 before drying. Hopefully it'll be over a half oz once it's dry.

The rest is all in nice nuggets of joy split 50:50 hanging and paper bag to see which I prefer. Will update soon with final yield and more pics.

Definitely worth the 100 days of waiting!
