First post!! Quick question before I plant

Hey all! I just got my seeds in the mail. 5 afghan kush Ryder and 1 auto something or another freebie. They will all be in .7 cubic feet of ffof cut 2:1 with fflw and put in holes I'm going to dig in a very nice mostly sunny spot. The soil where I live in the Midwest is black and really nice but I wanted to use the ff products for ease of use since this is my 1st outdoor grow and 1st auto grow. I have good sun and good soil with good genetics. Just need some expert advice.
1.How many days should I dig and fill my holes before planting in them?
2. Can I have success germing my seeds and planting them direct into the ffof and fflw mix outdoor?
3. Is it too early to start these babies? In the Illinois/indina area?
4. I have read to not dig your holes right after a rain. It rained yesterday and I'm thinking of digging my holes tnt, is this ok? I know I'm using soil to re fill but I want the soil under that ffof to be as good as possible. Thanks guys and peace!!

Welcome to our forum.1.You can dig and fill your holes any time now.2.It's always better to start your seeds indoors under lights foe a couple weeks than transplant them outside if you can.3.It's not to early to start them inside now and when there ready to go outside it should be warmer outside.4.It shouldn't matter if it rained,as long as your filling the holes with good soil.

Thanks for the quick reply brother! I would really like to keep the plants outdoor and not on my property only. But I may not be 100% against starting them inside in solo cups till they at least pop above the surface if it would really help the plants in the future or increase its chances. For 6 autos about how many watts would I need to be running just to get them started? And would only 1 week inside be ok? Or would that amount of time not help al that much? I don't have any lights anymore so cheap cfl's would be nice to use.
