Root system suppose to do this? Clogging the 1 inch pipe connections and cannot run circulation pump except on low. Then water lvl in reservoir drops way down.

That's one healthy plant bro! Wrap something like panty hose around the root system to try to keep them from clogging. I have no real solution for you sorry bud. Those roots are super healthy and they are supposed to grow like that.
