Outdoor first time auto. a halfassed outdoor experiment. auto bubblicious, and random auto outdoor mix.

I just realized that ive never actually bothered to measure the ladies. So here we are on day 28/29.
They all got fed yesterday and are already stinking up my greenhouse. Its a good thing my neighbours are cool with it, and let me stash them in their yard if i need to hide them in a pinch. Because when these things are actually full on budding, i have a feeling their going to have a rather powerful aroma.

Bubbleicious day 29. comming in at 12/13 inchesish...

Outdoor mix #1 day 28. Around 11 inches, and showing some sweet preflower action!
At the moment shes actually the stinkiest of the bunch.

And outdoor mix #2, the mutated runt of the litter, at 9 1/2 inches.

I did some reading on hear about drying in brown bags, instead of hanging. My dry box is starting to look smaller and smaller as these things grow... i think im going to take down the hanging lines, and use the box to hold the bags.

Lookin sweet opi, love that tool album

If your tight on space in the drying box check out jerky drying racks, they have them at TSC or tractor supply in the states, I used something similar to dry for a couple days before placing in bags, went to bags right away my first grow and they got stuck together

You heading back to the camp soon or home for a while?

Just thinking out loud here really... my drying method will all depend on what Im looking at come harvest time. But thats a sweet idea, ill look into something like that for sure! Even if I dont go that route, it wouldnt hurt to have them on hand for another go.

Aside from the stickiness, what did you think of the final product? (Before jaring) taste? Smell? would you consider It worth while if I could avoid the sticking?

Back Into camp 2 days from now sadly :(
My shifts arnt bad though, 1 week on, and 1 week off. Works out real nice.

First grow I went straight to bag, had 1 tiny mold spot on a clump of nugs that stuck together but the smell was and is still fresh as fuk, if you can grab some boveda 62 packs I'd highly recommend, so Ye if you can avoid the sticking and rotate them around every day otherwise the kinda get a flat spot but would recommend it, I've seen many experienced growers here brown bag dry so if they do it I'm all for it

Last day home with the girls, went to give them some love, and noticed some very, very minor burn going on. I did push it the other day because I thought they could handle it, but I guess not. Lesson learned. Im really not to worried, the damage is so minimal, my shitty camera couldnt even take a pic of it. I gave them a little flush, and set them in what little sun we have today to dry. Ill have my lovely assistant lower the dose a bit next week while im away.

Other than that, they look happy happy happy.

Im gonna miss 'em. Maybe ill get the wife to set up a skype session with them for me. :)

Edit

Forgot to mention the slugs! BayLee420 (I think) mentoned on another thread, to try setting beer traps to catch and drown the bastards. I set up 2 last night, and sure enough, i had a few in the cups. Noticed more damage on my veggies though, so ill have to pick up more beer (oh shucks) and set more traps.
