Good Day AFN.
Let me give you the run down. I have two auto's one Sweet Seeds Dark Devil and the other is Vision Northern Lights. Not sure which is which, please advise if you kno. This is the beginning of day 19 from seed. This is day 4 on nutes which consist of the Flora Series: Gro, Bloom, Micro, Rapid Start, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious Plus, FloraBlend at about 200-400ppm. cabinet temp 79deg f, pH 5.8, Hum 60%, water temp 76.6deg f. Running a DWC with 4 6500k cfls. Do they look normal?

note I have never grown with hydro. just seems like a lot of nutes to me. lol but yeah they are looking fine compared to mine in soil. Day 14 or 16. was a few grows back so I am unsure on age.

I think they look ok so far. Sometimes baby canna will get wrinkles wile there little and stretching . Just watch your temps. And let them grow ..

Hi Tee

I've never grown purely hydro, so can't advice on nute strength etc. However, your little girls are looking just a little bit light green - it could be the photo.

Is the PH a little high for a seedling? I feed in coco and start at about 5.6 and creep up to 5.9 for full flower.

Not really! I would have thought that this could be caused by a pwerful light that's too close. But i see you're using cfls - maybe raise them a bit to encourage some stratch.

When will it start growing verticle?
When it's put down it's tap root. In about 14-20 days the vertical growth should start really showing.

I'm sure one of the hydro guys will be along soon.
If you get no joy here, maybe throw up the question in Live Help thread as there aren't that many folk that are comfortable with hydro, but we do have some in the help team.

All the best

Blue ^_^

Hi tee ,sounds like to many additives / nutes & PH a bit high for seedlings like Blue said.

I think you only use micro & gro of the flora series at this stage ? (but I could be wrong) ... best to make a fresh res with just those two & rapid start for the 1st few weeks & add the other stuff later once they get going .Add the rapid start @ full strength to the res 1st & then make the PPM upto about 400 with the micro & gro ... closer to 400 is better than 200 bro ,that would be a bit low .Then set the PH to 5.6 ish & see how they go .

will sub up & look back to see how they are in a few days :Sharing One:

hey thanks guys i appreciate the help. i was following the flora-series expert grow schedule. I gotta see it out until i get a hickup. Imma wait a day or two to see what it dew... What is the preferred ph level for auto's? Are they all the same? I will change the ph to 5.6 while i wait. i didn't have a ppm meter, the feed schedule said to mix in 1 gal h2o, but i used 2 at a 1/8th .they are green. I just changed from 4 23w cfls to a flourowing 125w. so lets see what happens.
preciate you guys.
I'll sho you what im working wit
