Your girls are lookin good! I'm on my first auto grow and I also love how fast they grow. I've been growing photos on and off for a while but I'm gonna keep growing autos because I get impatient with photos. Autos keep my impatience in check so I can let my photos go the entire time

Thanks evol just checked out your grow. Looks freaking awesome mate, got subbed up for the final push bro. Do you have two seperate flowering areas for your photos? Or do you super veg photos til autos are done?

I have two seperate areas but unfortunately only 1 flowering light so I'm flowering my photo under a fluorescent light that I normally use for veg and a cfl just for a little extra penetration. I will be moving the photos under my blackstar as soon as the autos are done. So my buds on the photos should have time to bulk up before harvest.

looks like things are coming along nicely mcon.

great job bro!

:smokebuds:

well set the carbon filter up today, those girls are stinky lol, anyway i was wondering i understand the cf, filters and removes the smell from my room, which i exhaust outside thus ensuring that nosey neighbours and plod dont get a whiff of ma shizzle, but what do i do about the smell potentially coming through my passive intake into my house? could this be a problem, i only ask because if i stand outside the grow room i cant smell anything but the minute the door is open it becomes rather apparent that illicit activities are taking place :smokeit: and i can only imagine that the smell is going to get stronger, in fact if i have my way i guarentee it :D.

any info as always is appreciated.

hey mcon.

im pretty sure that you have a negative pressure going on.
(exhaust only + passive intakes)

as long as you have the carbon filter for the exhaust and enough cfm to help the fans push/pull.

you shouldnt have a problem with the smell escaping.

only smell would be through the exhaust/filter + when you open the grow area.

im 85% sure thats how negative pressure works, (hope someone else can chime in)

Cheers for the response herbal. I kinda thought that was the case but just needed some reassurance. You the man / or woman, whatever there's no sexism here lol

Yes, herbal is right. The negative pressure inside the grow area will keep the smell from escaping through your intake. The only time you should smell anything is when the door is open.
