I've never navigated a forum site and my grow is my first ever. I am looking for help with both. Im growing an auto in an aerogarden in a small place and I am having some issues. I have extra cfl's on the left and right side of my plant as well as two above my plant that are built into the aerogarden. How do I help my threads become more noticed and is it ok to have 8 cfl's on one plant? My plant is two weeks old and has really bad brown spotting.I posted a picture in a previous thread but can't seem to post it again. Any connection with the community would be much appreciated.

Sounds like u have a calmag issue but deffinatly need to see pics to confirm. I once tried growing in an aeogarden and didnt know what i was doing so yeah that didnt happen. The light will not lift high enough so u will need to rig something up to remove the top light and move it up. It was ages ago when i tried mine so i cant remember what i did but it was pretty easy.
What nutes are u using? And how much are you giving the plants? What is your ph and ec?
If ph is falling then the plant is generally over fed if it is rising it is usually taking the nutrient out, either way if your ph is out your plant will stop eating.
I am getting toward the end of my first real grow and had cal mag problems and ph problems. It pays to invest in a good ph meter, i found out the hard way.

Wow, thanks everyone for responding so quickly! What I have is an Aerogarden. I am growing one purple cheese auto that I got from World Wide Seeds. I am using the two bulbs from the Aerogarden that are above the plant. Both bulbs are 24W but I am unable to find out how many lumens they put out. Then on the left and right side of the plant I am using three 2700K 1600 lumen clf's and three 6500k 1600 lumen cfl's. The plant is 15 days old. I gave it 4ml of Miracle-Gro Aerogarden liquid plant food 4-3-6 on day 12 when signs of spotting started to appear more. I did some research and thought it could be a mag deficiency so I added a bottle caps worth of Epsom salt but nothing has seemed to change. The plant did start in water with a PH of 7 maybe even higher =(. That was for the first week. Then I added PH down solution and kept it at 6.3ish. Now iI have it at 6.0. I have an exhaust fan in my unit and I Just added a small fan to help circulate air. Temp is about 85 F. I am going to post some pictures. I am sad about my plant =(
