New Grower First time grower need some advice

That's a pretty small system for 16 auto plants. How many were you thinking of putting in there?

If you buy a good HPS bulb with an expanded blue spectrum you can grow full cycle with the same bulb. Given the size of that setup, have you thought about LEDs? A lot less heat than HPS. A 400 watt HPS can get quite hot in a small area. Proper ventilation is needed.

Well I have 13 seeds in total 10 auto bio-diesel mass and 3 la divas I honestly want to plant all of them. That setup will be placed in my 5x5 room. (don't know if that matters) Yes I have thought about LED lights but i read and heard they are pricey. I also thought the setup was maybe to small as well and was not going to give the plant evough space to spread. (So I'm a bit confused about how to go about this, I really like the fact that it's a drip system and a DWC in one) As far as ventilation my goal is to have a small fan in the room and a exit fan leading outside. I honestly want to stick to hydro, I have also considered Ebb & Flow

If you fill the whole thing with 16 plants you will end up with what is called a Sea of Green (SOG) grow. The plants will stay small but you'll have a lot of plants. I'm just getting into hydro myself but given my experience in soil less growing, a plant in a 3 gallon pot can get 2' high and spread over a 15" diameter area. Someone else with some hydro SOG experience may feel differently, but I don't see that system being capable of growing more than about 8 plants max.

A Blackstar 240 watt LED would be perfect for that size table. About $280 from Gotham Hydro. You're also going to need a carbon filter on your exhaust fan. A 4" one should be good for that size space.
