New Grower First time grower

I HIGHly recommend going organic my friend. Its much friendlier to mistakes, and the flavor you get off an organic soil grow is like no other. My last grow, I shared with some friends. They were ranting and raving over the flavor, and Im a noob grower. Specially if your going to order online. There are organic soil mixes that you just basically water and watch grow. Has enough over time nutrients to fullfil its needs. Maybe just a little nute boosting during flower with some teas. =D

thanks again for the baking soda advice. after watering today my runoff pH was between 6.1-6.2 for all plants. little more adjusting and i should have them all in the 6.5 range.

Could you explain to me the process here with ph adjustment?
At first you did this:
my pH meter showed up today. after calibrating it. i got these readings:

water 7.2
nute solution 6.5
runoff
-b1 5.8
-b2 5.7
-b3 5.7
-nl1 6.0
-nl2 5.8
-nl3 5.8
-nl4 6.0

Does this mean your water out of the tap is 7.2 and after adding supplements the solution is 6.5 without any ph adjustments up or down? When you watered with straight water you were putting it in at it's natural 7.2 ph? Now when you add nutes you add baking soda to raise the ph above 6.5? If so, to what ph?

water out of tap reads 7.2
water after adding nutes is 6.5


levels after baking soda (first adjustment):
tap water 7.6
nute water 7.5

run off bwt 6.1-6.2

will have some new runoff pH results tomorrow
