hey guys. I'm looking to grow some northern lights autos outside and am curious about pot size. I've heard don't go more than three gallon due to length of time on the ground and I've heard the bigger the pot the bigger the plant. Please help

Sorry you got no reply.
Theoretically a 3 gallon pot is big enough for a 3 month grow (most AFs).
Certainly not "Too Big", but as 5 gal. buckets are common, and often free, why not go there.
