I noticed the flora flex "lids" in some earlier pics. How did you use those? Were they hooked up to a pump for watering?

First time outdoor grow

I just used them as a feeding aid. They helped evenly distribute the feed as I hand watered. The trunks got too big to use them anymore even after cutting the center holes bigger.
Stacking up.

Found some bud rot and little webbing on a cola on this other plant. Overall not impressed with my first time outdoor experience.
