New Grower first time watering in 5 gallon pot

hi everyone awesome forum im so glad I found this so question.
After I transfer pellet with new babies into 5 gallon with pro mix hp even tho pre soiled do I dampen around just the pellet or do I try to keep the whole mixture damp our water spill tray and let soak a little that way and a little around pellet??

are you using any type of bact. or fungi for roots or any type of root booster or amending with worm casting(vermiculite)? are you saying you have multi- plants in 1 5 gal? or are these in ind. 5gals?
(just so i follow)
Id say transfer semi-dry to semi-dry , and after its in and your careful with the roots(autos tend not to like transplanting) then light-med Ph`d H20 to help the roots resettle in its new home.


trend on watering is water till light run off, then wait approx 10mins then remove excess water from tray to prevent Rot,Mold,Pests. but i didnt on my 5 gals just cuz their seedlings(1st full week out) still so i water in a 6in circle around the youngin`s till my worm castings and bact/fungi boost the roots a bit more then full water,NOTE: (this is what i am doing, use your judgement or wait for another opinion of a more seasoned green thumb)
