Unless the issue is confronted and resolved, the only solution is to not have her over anymore.

I'm sure she thinks she's doing a misguided youth a favor...but it needs to be addressed or avoided
completely. I couldn't grow if I felt like the plants were in that kind of omnipresent danger...plus,
now she is in the "knows what you're doing" column. Security risk unless it's talked out.

Yeah, agree with brotha Trapper. I dunno what the relationship is like now, but if it's talkable at some point soon, I would just kindly and calmly say: "Look granny, I feel your concerns and respect your point of view. But it's about personal medicine now and resisting the use of pharmaceuticals and supporting drug dealers these days..., not about getting high in the back of a rusted out hippy van at Woodstock and being a looser anymore." She probably remembers a time when "marihuana" was evil and destroyed lives. Lol! (talking point: the only lives ruined by herb are those of people locked up in jail from unjust laws and then have ruined careers, not the other way around)I had to have a difficult talk with a couple people in my life about my decision to grow my own. My reasons are: I f'ing HATE drug dealers, and I absolutely refuse to support them and indirectly support criminal cartels. I can grow organic, and can make medicine without who-the-hell-knows-what toxic chemicals, unlike street and even dispensaries herb. I can reduce and hopefully eliminate my dependence on prescription medications for pain/anxiety/ptsd. As a bonus: I've learned a lot about what I call (God), humility, and nature by these plants, more than 30 years of previous life. These may be some helpful talking points for when the time comes Above all, make sure you're not angry and have calmed down enough when the talk comes Karma and blessings!

This is terrible, terrible news mate, really feel for ya. Good job they wasn't 2 weeks from finishing though, thank your lucky stars for that... I would be having a quiet word with her when you can get her on her own. Make her understand that you're using it for personal medicine and not to supply your local pothead fraternity. She sounds like she has succumb to the media/religion/government's wrongful demonisation of a natural plant, our beloved ganja! Tell her it's different nowadays and the health benefits have been proven!!

Then pass her a spliff and tell her to chill the fuck out!

HAHAH oh man i didn't see how much this thread blew up! Her grandma has seem to have forgotten about it guess she must be senile. Saw her over the holidays and she didn't seem to even know she did that. I'm sure it might still be in the back of her mind but w.e. I've started my project elsewhere and in my flowering stage with a royal dwarf from royal queen. I had to go super stealth with her at first and had her in a tiny cabinet and used a 2.5 gallon storage container. She is actually doing amazing with some LST too. here she is . I put way to much work into the first op to give up. And am determined to have a successful grow. This is currently on day 43.
