first well-grown auto ever!

So somehow I was able to help this auto flower get this far in its life. But this is the first one I have ever been able to carry this far into its flower cycle. So I'm not sure when they finish, and do I judge by the trichomes with autos? this plant was mistaken for a photo period Plant and got into the 12 hour tent and began to flower around November 1 and has been on 12 and 12 ever since. I think it is auto big bud.
Would this mean that my auto flowers do better on a 12 and 12 for flowering? Hmmmm.......

Nice grow. Trics are your primary measuring stick. As far as 12/12 for autos...I've grown autos with photos for 15 yrs on 12/12 so I won't argue one bit about the pros and cons. Been there done that. You have discovered the same thing I did long ago when I threw my first auto seed in a winter plant room on 12/12....Reduced time does reduce yeild but not as much as your costs. No where does it say that autos 'require' more light, only that they 'can handle' it.
