Outdoor Flush or not?

Hi, this is my first grow and I am getting close to harvest. I have read from some that you don't have to flush autos. I am growing JD Easy Ryder in my vegetable garden and feeding her advanced nutrients big bud. The soil is organic loam and aged compost.
The buds are just starting to frost up and I was wondering is a flush beneficial. Oh and one more thing, I have read that adding molasses to the flush helps with the flavor. Any opinions would be appreciated.

If your buds just started to frost, you still have a few weeks before you should start.
I don't believe flushing does anything positive for smell or taste. All it does is cause extreme stress to your plant. "My 2 cents"

Reason being that your plant stores the nutrients in the leaves, when you flush she has to use up those leaves for energy, but she gets the same nutrients either way. By not flushing, your pant stays healthy until harvest.

Some people swear by flushing which is why it's such a controversial topic.

Depending where and what type of nutes you are using flushing autos is also important.Flushing removes any built up nutes or salt in the soil thay may give your weed some unwanted taste.It is more important when you use chemical nutes rather than organic.Just run clear water through your plants the last two weeks and this will be just fine.Adding molasses wont make the buds sweeter but it is used more often with organic feed to give the micro organisms in the soil some sugars to help them do there job of breaking down organic matter so the roots can absorb the nutes better.

My trichs are clear on my colas, and from what I have been reading on various posts, I should wait until they at least become cloudy with some amber. Do you think I should start the flush now?

Pics do help when possible. When I call mine done they go on a very weak nute solution for as long as the chop lasts.

While the trics on autos will turn cloudy, they will not always turn amber, so going by the tric color isn't always the best method. Wait until your big fan leaves have turned about half yellow, then start giving them plain, pH balanced water for a final cleanse. At that point they should have about 2 weeks left before harvest.
