How long is pollen released in grow room viable?
What actions should be taken to minimize unwanted pollinations in future generations?
Just curious thinking about breeding measures and control.
Didn't really find a "basic guide to breeding" thread like I have on so many other topics.
Thanks.

the thread goauto posted will help you... but to be honest.. "basic breeding" doesnt reallt cover good breeding tactics.. thats why there isnt a manual here for it...

clean your room well if you have had pollen in it... with a sprayer type bottle ad some bleach... be thorough!

:toke: hope this helps..

Yeah it should help, overlooked the obvious. thank you.
Hope my comment about "basic" breeding didn't offend anyone or demean the art and science of breeding for which i have hte utmost respect. Perhaps a "beginning guide to breeding" would have been a better choice of words.

It will be gone in a week. Water deactivates pollen thus a humid environment should clear the room fast.

Keeping them apart. A male in your grow room will pollinate everything. The only way to share a tent is to build an isolation box with pollen filter for that one plant.

i spray my breeding room down real good with tap water only after each breeding run i do , to date ive never seen seeds start to develope before the present male started tossin his pollin around , and my females are always timed to be flowering ahead of the male so they have lotsa pistils to catch the pollin , any stray pollin would have gotten to them if the water alone wasnt enough

peace
