Being an 82nd guy we called ours "cherries". A reference to their lack of "real" jumps. In school you jump at around 1400 feet, but in Division you jump at around 800, so you don't earn your respect until you've got a few under your belt 
Good to hear there are other vets around, I know a lot of disabled vets that have turned to Cannabis because of how hard the VA system can be to deal with. I have one less than 40 min away from my house, and I've never been except for the one time I had to as part of my MEB. That was enough to inspire me to come out of pocket for health insurance despite having 100% free coverage through the VA.
