Looking to correct a slight Mg deficiency and want to foliar epsom salts (Mg Sulfate) in conjunction with a standard foliar fert. I would typically just water the roots to solve a problem but medium just watered and won't be needing saturation for a few days during which time the deficiency could get worse.
So anyway, I've heard epsom salts application rates anywhere from 2 TBSP per quart to 0.5 TSP per quart. The foliar fert I have is 2-4-2 and on the bottle says 7ml/1 TBSP per quart (seems high to me).
If I want to feed both of these products at the same time what rate should I be looking at? Something like 1 TSP salts and ~3ml foliar fert to one quart water?
