New Grower Fox Farms Coco Loco grow...

Hey jebkmoo just wanted to say you are doing awesome, I too am growing at this time with a strain called Cream of the Crop Cash Crop. Your girls look very nice & I wanted to let you know that & to tell you to keep up the good work.:grat:

Thank you for your kind words BustaB. This is my first auto grow so pleade excuse the noob question. Is it normal for an auto to show her sex so soon? She looks rather small to me.

I beeeeeeeeeeeeeee deeeeeeeeee noooooooooooooobee 2

jebkmoo U R most welcome, but U R asking the blind & we know what the blind leading the blind brings. However I have never been treated so kind as on this site, I can suggest checking both my posts 1 in New growers forum & intros cause I have been given EXCELLENT ADVICE WITHOUT BEING CRITISIZED , most Awesome folks here period the end! I do however grow in Aeroponics & nothing else other than in spring to fall as I still enjoy the outdoors cause that is where I learned, I would also check out all the kind folks who have put up with this old mans ignorance & if you do not see what you are looking for, just ask some of those who have helped me. This is also my first Auto grow & I chose Cream of the Crop Cash Crop, please feel free to take a peek & tell me what you think. Just remember above all else " ENJOY YOUR GROW ":grat:

Update Day #22...

Things are still going well and I appreciate everyone's feedback. Please, if you see anything that in doing wrong please let me know.

Today is water/feed day and i have added Fox Farms Big Bloom to the mix now. I have added the following nutes and vitamins to 1 gallon of distilled water...

3 Tsps Fox Farms Grow Big

2 Tbsps Fox Farms Big Bloom

1 Tsp of Cal/Mag

2 Drops of Super Thrive

My nute solution was ph up to 6.3 with a run off ph of 6.3, so I'm dialed in. Temps have been steady at 79F with lights on and 72 dark on a 20/4 schedule. I do have a fan that makes my ladies move and helps to keep temperatures down. Anyway... Below are pictures of my babies. Please let me know what you think.

Mods... can you please delete post #24?

your ladies are looking nice and healthy Jeb..

as for the bloom nutes..you could have waited alitle longer with them in my opinion.. most people wait for the vertical growth to slow down/stop b4 they start bloom.

it wont hurt them..but you will force them in to bloom alitle faster "My 2 cents"

anyways..looks like you on top on things my friend :Sharing One: :grat:

Thanks Rebel... as far as the bloom nutes go... I'm just following Fox Farm's growing schedule. They actually recommend to use it from the start. Should i not use it?

i`ve never used it so i wont go over their head and say no buddy :)

if they say so..do it ..its their nute program :tiphat: but know that every plant is different and wont grow at same speed and such always..so imho, following the looks of your plant, is better :)

maybe after you`ve finished this grow..you could do a fert review on this on?

you can check it out here : [h=1] Live Fert Reviews and Ratings[/h]
a fert reviewer badge wil be rewarded :tiphat:

I absolutely will post a review! If I can be of help to others I will be more than happy to do so.

So far, my plants seem to love the current nute schedule. I haven't seen any adverse affects from the addition of the Fox Farms Big Bloom. Are you saying that this will put them into bloom sooner than it should go into bloom?

Also, I picked up some Fox Farms Sledgehammer from my local hydro shop yesterday. For those that don't know what it is... It's basically a flushing agent to remove salt build-up caused by adding nutes. Do i add it to my normal nutrient mix? Or do i just add it to water and give it to my ladies by itself?

Sledgehammer.. i`ve read alot about it but never tried it myself... alots of diferent opinions on that one..but after what i`ve heard..you should only use it if needed (salt buildups etc) and near harvest for final flush.

Should plants show signs of stress or color irregularities, flush your system with
FoxFarm BushDoctor SledgeHammer combined with FoxFarm Big Bloom.
Use Twice the volume of water as a typical feeding to remove unwanted salt
build-up and heal the root bio-culture. For edible plants flush the system again one to two weeks prior to harvest.
Note: This step is especially important when using coco based mediums as coco has a tendency to retain salts more than
peat-based soils. Always remember to adjust your pH.

in general..giving your ladies bloom nutes earlier..mens that you can push them into flowering alitle faster.

if you look in muddy`s guideThe life cycle of auto flowering cannabis.

Weeks 7 - 9. By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made.

but fox farm has a line, that goes hand in hand together. They explain pretty clear in this video why you should use it from the start. have a look :Sharing One: pretty interesting stuff :peace:
