full journal in the dragon meds section if you want to have a peek at some tiny, but nicely budded plants...been experimenting stacking nodes tight and stunting on purpose. PUlling some great average area weights, got just over 400grams each run this winter.

Cool...running almost the same square inchage What kind of light you running? Limited vertical or is it a tall space? Mine is only 30" from the top of the pots to the lights surface.

I have a 400w hps and 2x Mars hydro 140 true watts each; one on each side., I have 74" in height, but I have only let 1 grow go natural. Had to remove bottom 1/3, and to me, that is just a waste of light and plant energy that could be used to produce more uniform buds and a bigger yield. For the space I use, my tent could be 30" tall and it would not affect a thing.

Yeah for sure...i also strip underdeveloped "in the canopy" bud...good for nothing but sucking power from the main buds. Wow, thats actually quite a big of light for that space!! I am running 2 100X3w popular grow leds(140 draw) and one old version mars 100X3w led (160draw).
Are you getting close to 1 gram per watt or exceeding?

A couple years back, I had 3 tents and just north of 2200w. The 680w now feels low, but more than sufficient for what I have going on right now. The mars are ok, but not the best. I only use 1 Mars along side the 400w for most of the grow, just for the little savings in power. I turn on the second in week 2 or 3 of flower. Just depends on how the buds are coming along.

Ran it middle of last year. Had bigger plants in the way, so not much light, but she still gave a nice little bit. The smoke was great!
